I’m so happy you posted this. I literally just told 2 of my friends yesterday that I’ve always wanted to get a nose job but like you my bridge area is wide and that’s the only part I want to change. My biggest fear has always been that I don’t want to look different I just want my nose to look the way it does when I contour it with make up. This was a great story and you passed along some important lessons. I'm a Doctor and just a note to anyone contemplating plastic surgery - Even with the BEST doctor, anytime you are doing a procedure, it carries with it some risk. The risk increases the more invasive the surgery is and if you need general anaesthetic. Only proceed with any procedure if you are happy to accept the (albeit, small) risk that you could *potentially* die from a cosmetic procedure.

Hi Camila! To be honest the title of this video really called my attention. I´ve been following you for some time already and I find you so beautiful inside and out. This is just a confirmation that social media and especially the mean people can make you feel less beautiful. And I know that from my experience, because I was also born on 27th February and pisces are much more sensitive to things that people say. I liked your face before, including your nose because it made you look unique and original. We are different to each other from all over the world and latino people have different face features and it is beautiful! I would never change anything about you but I also understand that you feel much more confident because this is about you. You were, you are and you still will be one of the best beauty gurus in this community with that perfect symetrical face and rocking body. I’m totally obsessed with your accent, I could literally listen to these chatting videos all day am I weird? 😂 You look beautiful as always! ❤️ I had a nose job when I was 25 that I had wanted since I was 10, and you are so right, waiting for the right surgeon is the best decision! He kept my “greekiness” and ethnicity, so much so that my dad didn’t even notice, but it got rid of the bump I hated so much and I had such a great experience doing it because of picking the right surgeon and following all the recommendations. Anyone who is looking to do it, take your time finding your surgeon and you will have a good experience!!

It seriously looks like a nose you could have been born with. It looks natural even when you smile. A lot of people go for something that, while cute, may not be symmetrical for the rest of their face and I think that’s when they start to look artificial and then they try to do other things to be natural looking again. I’m glad you got what you were looking for and stayed true to yourself. You look beautiful and happy!

Ficou bem natural !! Voce tem um rosto grande, com olhos grandes e boca também, de forma que, se ele diminuísse seu nariz, ficaria totalmente desproporcional e mudaria sua fisionomia, dando aquele efeito "nariz de outra pessoa invadiu meu rosto", que vc não queria. Seu médico foi ótimo e apenas fez uma versão mais delicada do seu próprio nariz, sem mexer onde vc não precisava. Continuou linda, com uma mudança sutil e muito bem feita, que fez bastante diferença !! Gostei muito !

Camila, the Brazilian doctor didn't show you any pictures of his patients' nose jobs because this is prohibited by the Brazilian Federal Medical Council. This practice used to be allowed until 3 or 5 years ago, always keeping the patient's anonimity, but now doctors cannot display any before & after pictures of their patients at all. 😉

It’s the same in my country and i find it so stupid. If you (as a patient) give your consent to the doctor to share their work on your body, why should it be prohibited? It’s really helpful to see before and after pictures of people who have similar bodies as you and it makes people feel much less anxious at the time of getting the actual surgery. I know i would be much less scared of getting a surgery if i could actually see how i might end up looking like and not just having the doctors word on how i’m gonna end up looking like.

Just wait it gets better! I got my mine done last April and everyday it gets better and better. After a year mostly all of the swelling will go all the way down. You look 👍 I wanted to do my nose since I was a teenager too but didn’t finally do it until I was 35. I had a huge hook nose. I look so much softer now. So happy for you

Camila your nose looks amazing, its very natural on the face and thank you for sharing !!! i can relate to your story because we have the same feelings about our nose, also I've had the same experience in school when i was 13/14 (I'm 23 now) one day in class a friend of mine said my nose was too big for my face and ever since then I've wanted a nose job, the same as yours where they shave the bridge and shorten the tip, its crazy how one negative comment can shift our perspective of ourselves. Adorei o vídeo. O meu caso foi parecido com o que você falou do médico que queria fazer também os seus seios. Lembro que fui fazer um desvio de septo e o cirurgião disse que também era plástico e que poderia alterar meu nariz se eu quisesse. Eu lembro de ir ao espelho e ficar olhando meu nariz por um longo momento até perceber que não precisava fazer nada lá, que ele não é perfeito, mas que a imperfeição dele não em incomoda em nada, nunca incomodou.
