So sorry to hear about your husband's pick pocketing incident!!! It can happen to anyone and we have to be one step ahead of the pickpockets. I appreciate you sharing about it in order to help reduce the risk for others. We were in France recently. I asked my husband to use a cross body men's travel bag, which he did and I used smething similar, especially when we were in high risk areas e.g. train stations. We were scoped out by a pickpocket and they even got close to us. Fortunately, like you, our valuables were not easily accessible and they moved on. Thanks for sharing about your other adventures in Italy also. Hope to travel there next year!!!!

Yep! It was a shame. He was wearing a crossbody bag but they moved in and distracted us and unzipped it - took his wallet and then POOF - they were across the street! It all happened so quickly and I am mad at myself because the woman -- was completely in my space and walking on my heels that I moved - so she got behind my husband and her partner in crime was in the front of him. Live and learn. Moving onward and upward!!! AND yes- we still want to go back next year too!! xoxo

Sounds like you did all the right things to reduce your risk. I have heard some of the pickpockets can be super aggressive and it seems that was the case for you. Thankfully you didn't loose your passports. Ciao!

I’m so sorry to hear about the wallet! My husband wore a money belt in Rome and we teased him, especially when he had to lift up his shirt to purchase something 😂. I’ll share your story - he’ll feel vindicated (he would have been so upset)! I had my wallet stolen right outside my workplace in Chicago, it’s such a sinking feeling, just disappointment in humanity. Same thing, a man distracted me by screaming about a health emergency. Glad Milan made up for the bump in the road.

Yvonne- it was sort of shocking how much the food was different there. I was eating everything without any stomach distress... which is unusual for me!!! Full dairy milk and cheese. Bread! Gelato. LOL! Now, I also was walking minimum of 25K steps a day too. So balance is the key. I just could not get over the tomatoes... I sort of stopped eating them here. The sneakers are AMAZING! Truly - so freaking comfortable. THANK YOU For being here!! xoxo

Yeah - it was a bummer and added many extra costs to our trip due to having to change plans on the backend because he was going to see his ill mother but wouldn't be able to rent car without license or credit cards. He was wearing a shoulder bag that was zipped up and basically - the couple got between us- caused a distraction - he turned around and then he was like OMG - they got me!! They immediately started using his cards but luckily he was able to freeze accounts on the street with his apps. He had just taken money out of the ATM-- which was a bummer. The good news is that they didn't get his passport - but definitely put a little damper on that spot. We had been before when it was not so crazy busy and enjoyed ourselves - so we will just go with those memories instead. My lululemon bag was fantastic because it is truly zipped up and folded over-- and I kept it up front. THANK YOU for being here. SO glad to be home! xoxo

Packing cubes are life changing for travel. You must go to the Amalfi Coast, it’s as beautiful as the photos. Once in Rome was enough for me. Not only is there pick pocketing there can be some very inappropriate behavior that can happen to you.

Yes you do! LOL! They are totally different scents but just similar powdery vibes. Comete is Bitter Almond Powder and ZouZou is Vanilla Tonka Powder. I love them both so much. ZouZou is definitey more of a gourmand. I am wearing it today! LOVE! xoxo

They are slightly long on me but if you wear a slightly elevated sneaker or sandal they work. I kind of liked the longer length. I am 5'3 and I would say they are about an inch too long but not terrible... I hope this helps. xoxo

They are experts and good at what they do. My daughter has a money carry that goes around neck and tucks inside her shirt. Pants. Or men can get a money belt. Sadly, they are all over. Oh. And It’s the season for bed bugs. All need to be safe. They can get into laptops pads, etc. and even 5 star hotels. There is a bed big register online. Gross. Ew. Ha ha. Not to bring your trip down
