An empathic person, one who feels others pain, can only absorb so much, without taking on that pain. Maybe it is the pain that he felt for others, that killed him.
@JonduGaming4 жыл бұрын
Having been in that position myself, I agree. Those who feel others' pain might not be aware of their own. They can be so focused on helping others, they might forget to take care of themselves. It can be hard to care for others when you aren't in a good position to even help yourself. I wish I could have just talked with him, even if it was just for a few minutes, to understand him a little better. He was a gift we didn't(still don't) deserve.

@@skylovermc2146 Bull. Crap. If you aren't in a stable place yourself, you can't help others as well as you should be able to. It's just like trying to carry someone with a serious injury down a mountain, while you're hobbling along on a broken leg! It does neither of you any favors, and will probably only do more harm than good in the end! Self care is something I've had to learn, and I preach it. It's not selfishness, it's self-awareness.

I can't help but think of the irony of every statement made by Williams in this montage. It's just so painful to think that he could never feel this way about his own life, yet did the opposite when it came to the lives of others. I am an aspiring acto/comedian and since I was very young, robin was my greatest mentor. If I ever have even half the talent and intelligence that he had, my life will be worth while. I also suffer from depression often too. There were times I thought about suicide. But much like robin, I have a knack for making people laugh. I would lie, to work on making myself laugh at items too. But wherever I end up, I hope I make other people as happy as I want to make myself, since we are always our toughest critics. RIP robin Williams, my hero.

Robin Williams is a symbol of tragedy. Many say that they miss him because they grew up watching him but that's Not really why his suicide is so tragic and why his life and death should haunt and inspire all of us for centuries to come. It's because his entire life and being was selflessly designed for the happiness and healing of others, to get people to laugh, to get people to smile when it's really the last thing they want to do. And during that he suffered hell. And rather than throwing in the towel early he kept going, cheering up others, so that others didn't have to suffer like him. This really exemplifies the beauty of the idea of Christ that inspires so many. Someone who shouldn't suffer, who nevertheless does, yet seeks to give others happiness even tho they can't find it themselves. When people talk about Love, Love isn't just kisses or even even kindhearted friendship, but it's ultimately sacrifice of yourself to the absolute limits for someone else. Robin exemplified that. Robin is a definition of love. Of the highest kind.

People will never truely understand the why of what he did. It wasn't just depression, there was more to it. I miss him terribly. Wish he was still here so I could see him smile that smile of his, hear him laugh that infectious laughter of his, tell all those hilariously crazy jokes that had my sides hurting so bad. I hope he is in a better place. I hope he is finally truely happy. There will be no more sadness in his life now. I hope he is truely at peace.

He inspires me To bring laughter to every situation, To make everyone feel better, To always work to be better then what I am already, To Be myself, Not to pretend To Be something I'm not, To be there for people, To bring a smile to their face. No matter how many names I'm called, No matter how many times people tell me to give up, No matter what. Even when people Judge the way I dress, I don't care, It's who I am. I can dress in dark clothes, And dye my hair Bright colors if I want to because it's, WHO I AM. And this man taught me to be Who I am, Not anyone else. Robin Williams Taught me more than my parents ever could have, And I wish I could have met him before he died to tell him this. I still Exist.

To Robin Williams: though most knew him for his humor we all can agree he did far more then just tickle our funny bone he showed us that life is full of joy and opportunity, and that even in the hardest of times when we seem to hit rock bottom and life doesn't seem worth it, stop, pick yourself up and look for a good reason to let out good jolly whole hearted laugh. maybe an old joke, a funny story or movie, or silly time with friends or family. Life is 1000% better when you smile. He gave us more then a good reason to giggle beyond just being goofy. He showed us life without a little joy is no life at all. Nothing can ever replace him on the big screen or in our hearts. WE ALL MISS YOU ROBIN WILLIAMS

A friend. A father. A mentor. A comedian. An actor. A brother. A son. A guardian angel. A human being. It pains me to know that whilst he was struggling internally with his mental state, he still managed to bring a smile in people’s faces even if he wasn’t taking care of himself. People didn’t know he was struggling until he killed himself. His brilliant mind was his best friend but also his worst enemy. We need to look after one another.

Got to meet him & shake his hand in my one & only movie extra work in Man Of The Year. I was so nervous as he was about to get to me, But it felt like I was meeting a lost soul mate. He even asked my name & how my day was, It has become a moment I will treasure even more now. We so need a little Robin Williams in the world right now. Robin Williams was the greatest most selfless actor in the world, I could only hope to be as great he was. I am so thankful that he got to spread his kind spirit and his genuine soul with the rest of the world, he lives on through his movies, the ones that show us his true self not just the ones in pictures or interviews but the man who just wanted to make people happy and make them smile. we can learn a lot from him truly, instead of being on our phones or being in competition with one another we can atleast lift eachother up and do what he did without even needing a sign or a prayer. Our job is improving the quality of life, not just delaying death. Something I truly believe in. Real loss is only possible when you love something more than you love yourself. I didn’t know Robin personally but I truly grieve him everyday I’m alive and he is not. An empathic person, one who feels others pain, can only absorb so much, without taking on that pain. Which is most likely what lead to his death, he cared so much for other people and didn’t even think about himself, although admirable it’s an obvious sign of depression. I hope he loved himself as much as he loved others, nothing is more human than the ability to laugh and feel things you may not even know, nothing is more valuable than your life and that of others around you. 7/21/51-8/11/14 🤍

I totally am in sync with you, still 2023 I still find myself not crying but absolute bawling... that day will never be forgotten for that day I’d just finished watching JAKE my hubby went to grab our breakfast walked in ghostly and he didn’t know how to tell me in fact it took him a bit longer than expected, he meandered listening to the car radio trying to figure out how to tell me... the last thing we were talking about before he left I had said “Ggg I wonder what he has in-store for us next” ... I could not function for 1 week was extremely distraught, the second week I could at least talk - it took about a month to get out of the fog I was in See that day was also the anniversary of the death of my father - there isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think of them... Everyday I say “fleeing my home motif” and it helps me just to give effort to move & get up - but it is very hard

To this day I still haven't seen Good Will Hunting.... and I'll never forgive myself for that.... if and when I do finally see it... I'd like to think that Robin will in that moment smile down on me and bless me with a sign to something to make my life worth living.... something that doesn't hurt.... a cure... to the seemingly endless pain I, and many others, suffer from each and every day... Robin Williams taught me one thing.... and that is "one laugh is worth a thousand tears" I realized that after we lost him. Everyone speculated that he had taken his own life due to severe depression... so I realized in that moment that one laugh is worth a thousand tears. Meaning that when you laugh the joy you feel in that instance is the weight of a thousand tears being lifted from your shoulders. It's the feeling of someone or something else taking away the pain. Robin did that for all of us constantly and we never thought what it was doing to him. He took that pain but had nowhere to put it. So he kept it. He kept our pain and the weight of all our tears as to make sure we could all know happiness while he endured the suffering we all dumped on him when we used him as the clown so many saw him as.... we did this and never even realized that it could get to be too much for him the same way it can be too much for us. We laughed and laughed giving him more and more of our burdens to carry until one day it became too much..... we had lost him and it was too late for any of us to realize the very message I learned that sad day.... One laugh.... is worth a thousand tears.... it may be too late now.... but I'm sorry Robin... we all are...

Some of the best quotes I've collected said by Mr Robin Williams in several movies and stuff : We've always tried to make sense of things : there must be some reason I am as I am Nothing as close to an orgasm as laughter.(same face!) Why can't we treat death with a certain amount of humanity and dignity and decency and, god forbid, maybe even humor? No matter what anybody tells you, words and ideas CAN change the world. You're only given a little spark of madness, if you lose that, you're nothin. Don't ever lose that, cause it keeps you alive. It is only in their dreams that men are truly free, t'was always thus, and always thus will be

He's part of my heart because he was such a good person and wanted to make everyone around him smile with his laughter and life, and he's gone now, I always think that he's gone and wonder why his took his own life the way he did, I wish he knew that everyone in the whole world would have supported him if he had troubles but he faced his troubles on his own and died in a way that he shouldn't have, he didn't deserve this, he gave heart and happyness to everyone who saw his movies and now he's gone, I can't take his loss, I grew up with him and his movies and I'm always going to grieve now that he's gone😔😔
