GSG is an awesome company, Im British and while on their website I noticed a spelling mistake, emailed them about it. Got an email back asking for my address. They sent me a box of GSG goodies. How fucking awesome is that.

I got a baseball cap, a couple of really good quality key rings, loads of stickers and a few other bits. Sent first class from Germany. As a Brit I didnt expect that at all. So I have decided to move and naturalise to a developing country which would allow its citizens to have air rifle or hunting rifle.

Dude I love my GSG AK 22lr. It's a blast I can hit my spinning pinker at 50 plus yards all day long!! I got the wood version and when I got it home I took some red oak wood stain and stained it then coated it with polyurethane and it looks way more authentic now. The wood looks identical to a real AK

one of my favorite features of this rifle, is the aesthetic similarity to the ak pattern rifle. besides a romanian ak22 (akt-98) trainer rifle, I think the GSG is the only other option for a .22 ak variant. not sure I would consider any others as an option for my collection (including mossberg or rock island arms ak22 variants). thanks for watching and commenting!

IntoWeapons What about the Armi Jager ap 80? It's an ak22. It was imported from Italy by Mitchell Arms and was similar. Do you know anything about them as far as the quality?

Nice rifle, but you can't adjust the sights for windage, and parts are extremely hard to find nowadays, if not impossible. If you want one, make sure you find it with the parts you want already preinstalled, because you're not finding them otherwise. Good news is, the optics mount works with most aftermarket rails. No stocks or foregrips, though, so good luck with that.

I bought this rifle and have been having trouble with the side rail mount. The one that comes with it is plastic so I contacted gsg and they put me in touch with someone selling a metal upgrade. I purchased and installed that. I also bought a standard side rail mount but it does not fit and falls right off. What brand and style side rail mount did you go with ?

Nice video mate, that wood is crying out for some walnut oil, maybe a bit of staining on the fore-end to bring it up to the finish of the stock. Cool rifle. All the best from the UK.

That's actually a nice looking rifle. I've seen these advertised before but you can't really tell a lot about them with just pictures. I'm curious to see how the accuracy is myself. I got a Zombie Apocalypse version of this and I stripped all the Zombie stuff off it, Tru-Oiled the wood and it looks amazing. It's my wifes, so when I shoot the WASR she has hers. Great little rifle.

I'm actually really excited to see how this gun performs. I've been interested in this gun for a few years now. I've shot a GSG 1911 chambered in .22 and was really impressed with it. Save your money and buy a Bulgarian Arsenal made AK. Dont waste your money on anything else. If you want to go cheap buy a surplus romanian AK or WASR. Believe me, you will be glad you did.

25 yds, 50 yds, then 100 yds :) Should be pretty close to zero out of box I would bet though. try using an ammunition which you will probably use the majority of time, and something that isn't overpowered compared to standard .22 velocities.

IntoWeapons What number on the rear sight do you use for the 100 yd zero? I'm thinking of using 1, the rearmost position. What do you use?

I usually do the same, if an adjustment is even needed. Typically I will leave the sight in the "dip", or the closest to the rear of the sight base. This is the "battle sight" location, which will generally give you good groupings between 30-100 yds. If I need to get better groups than what I can acheive doing that, I will use a rifle scope. hope it helps!

IntoWeapons I sighted it in last night. Out of the box comes pretty close to a 100 yd zero at the 1 setting in the rear sight, which is similar to a 7.62 AK. I was using Stingers to break it in, I may need more adjustment when I get to lower velocity ammo like Super X or Mini Mags.

No on 10/22 and 99.9% sure on gsg 110.. I have one and think I asked support about that drum mag. You pretty much have to find mags made for it unless you can mod one somehow. But fun plinker and gets compliments everywhere :D BTW muzzle break IS removable since he said he wasn't sure.
