Playtest it like I did in this video and you’ll play fine

same. it’s my second deck. I got my squirrel deck that i just recently made, and now this deck which my friend got me for christmas 😁

Commander's a tough format to start with, more stuff going on. Get a standard deck, much easier. Download mtg arena, great practice

@swiftymcgraw6739 This deck is my first deck, too, and I'm telling you, you can do it. I am not trying to be rude, but I wouldn't play it like this person. Bring Rose out on the second turn if you can. You want to make sure your hand can do that and be willing to take some damage. This video makes me want to make a video...... lol 😮💨 I'm telling you, she kicks ass. I've played this so many times over the course of two or three months, and I still have trouble remembering the Tenth Dr needs to come out at some point. 😅 I've modified my deck at this point, but I promise you, this one is fun and I'm so glad it was my first.

@@katherinebrown5720 the playgroups I play against in Jersey run so much removal that its better to play commanders when you have a method of protecting them, otherwise people will just take them off the board every chance they can. By the sound of it, I would presume you don’t experience that amount of removal, and would recommend your play style if your playgroup plays less removal.

Got this as being introduced to magic, let’s say the first game I played it took awhile… but it was fun. Did I lose? Yes but i cleared the board when I did. I figured if I died I should reset time for everyone else cuz why not

just found your channel. i really like your style, way of teaching, and explanations of what things do and how the cards might synergize with each other. Looking forward to watching you and your channel grow.

Love the way you explain it

Can you explain how the chaos ensues effect works when it triggers? I'm unsure of how to use the planes.
@GSIron2 ай бұрын
Generally there will be a chaos related effect on each plane chase card and as you roll chaos on the plane chase dice and “chaos will ensue” or in other words the chaos effect on the plane chase card will trigger

Great video content just 2 cents from the peanut gallery. If you lowered the background music just a smidgen would be awesome

@@Landril it comes through my headphones seeming totally balanced, I wonder if the sound is coming through differently on different hardware. Maybe something that has to do with whatever editing software is being used 🤷

2 questions, what do the time counters do for you and what does it mean when a card is suspended
@GSIron2 ай бұрын
When a card is suspended it’s basically removed from the existence of the game with a set amount of counters. When all the counters are removed the spell is then cast
@rongwrds97092 ай бұрын
@ okay, that makes more sense, do you remove a time counter only after your turn or is it after each person’s turn
@GSIron2 ай бұрын
Only during the upkeep step during the beginning of your turn
@Aqua-Otter10 ай бұрын
So, I do have a question; time counters go down per turn, don’t they? Because I have this Deck and I’m a little confused when it comes to the time counterpart and I have a feeling that getting the doctor out is very important just so you can manipulate the time with a lot of things am I correct in that?
@GSIron10 ай бұрын
Yes at the beginning of your turn you can remove a single time counter from every card you have suspended
@Aqua-Otter10 ай бұрын
Thank you!
@katherinebrown57203 ай бұрын
Can? It's a must unless you are time traveling, isn't it?? @GSIron It's during your upkeep, every suspended card gets ticked down one.
@katherinebrown57203 ай бұрын
Getting Rose out is important. Get her out on turn two if you can and be willing to take some damage while you build her up. This deck is a lot of fun.

Tells people to protect their cards because they are an investment... I hate modern tcg gamers. I hate modern tcg manufacturers as well. Yhe fact that these companies have made it so people think of a game as an investment is sad. Cards should be colected and used gor fun Not stored away forever so that one day someone can make a quick buck on a passionate fan.

idk, I just started playing this game a few months ago, and I already have a bunch of decks that I've fully sleeved. I'm a pretty casual player and I only really play with the friend that got me in to MtG, in my opinion 10$ sleeves isn't a bad price for insurance against beer spills, especially when they do in fact make shuffling much easier as well. Funnily enough the friend who got me in to mtg used to play years ago and only got back in because of Dr. Who universes beyond, mainly this deck (which he never really used very well imo) while I learned with the Dalek deck.

@davidstaffen6783 if someone pays say 80 bucks for a deck they don't want that 80 dollar to get destroyed really quickly. Even if you play with them it's still a money investment
