Hi sir, You mentioned Whatever GSM calculated in this video is for Ideal fabric. Suppose If we require finished fabric of 150 GSM means, how much GSM should be at Grey fabric level, after scouring, after dyeing, after washing for 30s count? Please explain with one practical example. Thanks.

I don't know, whether you have seen our other videos on GSM or not. I never recommend for gray GSM to achieve the finish GSM. I always told to go by LL to achieve the finish GSM. So ,go through my all videos and try to understand the method deriving LL for a given GSM. If you feel hard to understand kindly join our merchandising class conducted ,daily and weekly. @@karkakarka3108 yes sir, You are right. Eventhough I watched the previous videos, I didn't get the knowledge fully. After seeing 3 more times, I understood that loop length is basic unit to finalise GSM of the fabric.

Single track machine for singl jersey fabric, Two track for fabric like Airtex, Other tracks machines to create self designs fabric like thick Pique, honeycomb , drop needle etc.

Take any size fabric ,take the weight in GM's and use this formula. Weight of fabric in grams×10000 ---------------------------------------------------- Length in cm× width in cm of sample
