Why isn’t it reported that the tax is not mandatory by the business as Coke is refusing to do it. Also the purchaser needs to submit the tax receipts to the CRA which is said can take two years. Also the purchase must be larger than $2 . So if a bag of chips for $.60 is bought you are out of luck.

I find it interesting that there's NO GST on Pokémon cards(a japan/Asian product)….but there is on hockey cards(a Canadian product)…..why? Make it simple.....No GST on anything made in Canada would be pretty easy to implement....The "made in country" labeling is already there,.....tax the imports, not our domestic products.

Funny thing bout that gst break, it is not mandatory for businesses to do, AND if you save all your receipts for 2 months, you can submit them to CRA for a rebate, at discretion of CRA of course. Let the holiday season begin!😂😂😂
