Yes it is the last GMD Müller gondola in Switzerland. No, it will be replaced within 2 years by a Bartholet gondola.

Gondelbahn Monde why is everyone removing all the historic lifts out there? Dont they want to preserve history? I know there is no Von Roll VR 101s and that right there is ashame..

The Swiss laws on ski-lift and the speed and age limit ensure that they turn to a maximum of 35 years.

Gondelbahn Monde wow. thats sad. out here in the USA, we have no such silly laws. We have 11 operating Von Roll VR 101 lifts, a few Geovanola detachables. So much for Switzerland saving history.
