We live in Norton Shores, Michigan. Just 30 miles west of Grand Rapids, Michigan on the shore of one of the Great Lakes, Lake Michigan. We’ve visited Canada Provincial Parks numerous times and spent several winters in Venice, Florida. We’ve also spent several weeks in Europe on the Danube River traveling from Passau, Germany to Budapest, Hungary. We just found your KZbin channel and I have to say we’re impressed. Your family does a wonderful job sharing your travels in Europe. Thank you so much for taking us along with you.

Thanks for the lovely comment. Venice, FL sounds fantastic in the winter to escape those cold days on Lake Michigan. We know all about that since we’re from Canada originally.

How is this not a show on a travel channel?! Your videos remind me of the trips to Europe that I took with my children when they were young. Intelligent, informative, and family-oriented - outstanding work. And great dancing at the end!

So after watching this video I have watched all of the CH ones. Thanks for the great job on those videos and for letting me see some parts of CH that I have never seen. I am always hiking in die Berge. So thanks again for the sights and info and giving me my "Swiss fix" while here in California. One question though.....I've heard of a seilbahn, luftseilbahn, drachtbahn but never a telecabin. Is that Canadian?
