She's alive! Got away with very little damage considering what I put that poor bike through.
Total cost £41. The rest I'm just going to leave as although cosmetically she has some battle scars, it doesn't seem worth spending a load of cash when its just light scratches.
I do have some treats lined up for her though.. ;)

I ride a sports bike and live down gravel road in rural Virginia. Though it's not mud, I feel your pain. The key is to have a healthy amount of speed while avoid big ass rocks and high-grade slants.

Well I had the 1100GS and whilst fantastic on road it was lethal off road - too top heavy and tendancy for back wheel to spin you around and over on soft mud. With knoblies on it might have been OK but road-bias tyres were a no-no for me!

I was watching this and thought, the only thing that would make this more funny is if there was the sound of wild dogs/wolves off in the distance and getting closer..................
@InsanityHere

. I think what would be funnier than that is if King Henry the 8th, were to trot by on a horse, with his entourage, and look down upon our fallen biker.

I do believe you can be in love with a machine, especially one you've worked on yourself.. I bought a brand new ZZR1400 in 2010, I rode it straight home and locked it in the garage & didn't look at it for 3 days.. It was like deciding to marry an attractive prostitute. It seemed like a good idea at the time, but I hated myself for it and wanted to hide the bitch away and out of sight! Never loved her at all. Divorced after 7 awkward months together..

Thankfully a follow up piece to GSXR green lane testing. I think you should have put a bill into Suzuki for all cleaning costs, parts and the obvious PTSD endured as I’m pretty sure the official owners handbook will not state “do not go riding on green lanes” Yes to a red Boxster but big thumbs up to speed yellow 😎

I live in Honduras, where actual roads is not a super common thing. It takes a long time to learn how to deal with the conditions on a streetbike, but you only learn them by being forced to. I hope you'll give it a safer go on a cheaper bike next time to keep an open mind! It really can be extremely.. adrenaline pumping. As always, love the video.

But then there was that horrific fall and it put me off. Your videos are epic mate. Always make me laugh so blunt about everything. Pleased to see the GSXR was alright in the end albeit with war wounds, but something to laugh about aye?! Keep up the good work pal! =)

I had what might be considered a silly question. When you leave the green lane and get back on the tarmac, is that considered a two-lane road or is it one-way? I'm an American who rides and to me that road seems really narrow. Just curious. I've enjoyed several of your videos this morning!

Just a little FYI, across the road from that Shell garage there is a massive off roading area, might be good to take the scrambler there, or the GSXR... also, that video of you down the green lane was fucking funny. I couldn't have thought of a worse situation. Maybe if there were some horses or people on actual off road bikes to see you, that might have made it a bit better.

BaronVonGrumble For some reason I can't reply... in any case, jump down to your local suzuki dealer and try out the suzuki DRZ 400. Other things to try are the yamaha XT 660 (if you plan on off roading , get the tenere). You are old enough to go a test drive on these bikes , I'm not (18 years old is too young for most dealers) so I just had to buy to try (and love) the Vstrom :). I had an XT 600 before and they are fucking awesome for rush hour filtering. The big bars help a LOT!
