Just got this, they have US distributor now. I also added the shifter v2 attachment. This wheel stand is awesome for the price. The G27 attaches to the stand perfectly using the pre-drilled holes. This is way better than the cheap stands with a pole in the middle. I had one of those for a while and I hated the pole obstructing my legs so much I sold it at a loss. Absolutely avoid those pole-in-the-middle stands as they are just a waste of money. My newer version of the stand now comes with larger circular rubber feet that help grip the floor better if you have wood floors. It's pretty well made and it's very hefty with everything attached, it won't slide around.

I recommend Apiga A2 for anyone still looking. It has a compatible base that supports a full chair, so you effectively have a modular, mobile rig. I have my AccuForce DD wheel mounted to it, and although I do lose some vibrations through the side, they come back through the frame into a chair. It's awesome for what you're paying. Highly, highly recommend.

Great review! I was looking at buying my first sim rig and was not sure what to go for. I downloaded plans to build a full size wooden sim rig. Then I worked out what was needed to make an full-size aluminium profile sim rig. Then I decided to work out what was needed for just a stand. Every diy option worked out expensive. In the end I realised it was cheaper and easier to buy a ready made stand. So I watched your review and just ordered this one. Great job👍

I bought one 2 years ago and I got to say that it's really good. I am even doing League-Racing and has never let me down. I use it with a 5€ foldable aluminium seat and as far as the stand is concerned I feel confident that I can to a 24 hour race. It's a shame you didn't have any footage of the formula style configuration which is really cool if you have any pillows to use on the floor.

Excellent review guys. Based on this review I went and bought one through eBay and I must say this rig is great. It came up on ebay though as the GT Art. The wording on the box and the title on the instructions say Art but the pics show the Omega...!!!

I use a Wheel Stand Pro, don't really have a ton of space for a full rig. Has worked well for me the last 3 years or so.

I just got one of these to mount a Fanatec V2 base and V3 pedals to. Unlike the video shown here, my stand didn't come with any bolts to mount the wheel and pedals to. Also where the top platform is that you mount the wheel to, mine is pitched forward unlike the relatively flat look in the video. Since the V2 base has a mounting bracket on it that is also pitched forward, it makes the wheel tilt forward at a steep angle. Almost like an old car with tilt steering when you tilt the wheel all the way up to get out of the car. When my stand is collapsed fully the knobs will not screw into their holes for storage. One side will, the other won't. I'm going to contact GT Omega to see what I need to do to fix it.

+Jezza819 I figured out how to adjust the top platform so I got my wheel base mounted. But it's still going to be hard to collapse it down since you have to try and hold that heavy wheel and at the same time try and feed those knobs into their holes.

the only thing that sucks about this stand is how low the shift mount ends up, cause you can only use a really narrow chair with it. before i got the shifter i was able to have a recliner nice and close, but not with the shift mount. i had to end up mounting the th8a directly to the same plate the wheel is on, with barely enough room

How well does this stand up to a load cell break like the Fanated Clubsport? On a wood floor, this may have to be tethered to the chair you choose to use. I am asking because I am looking for something like this for my office triple screen PC.

I have the Thrustmaster T150 3 pedal set. I tried for over an hour to try to mount it to this contraption and was only able to get one screw in it. All the other holes wouldn’t line up properly.

I understand that "space saving" is the main objective here. But one thing I just can't deal with is ANY flex movement at all. If this seemed to be my only option..i would think harder for a more stable solution.

Is the angle of the base plate ok. I hear it's fixed. Thought it might lay flat but seems it doesn't. My pedals feel comfy being flat and just thinking they might be at a weird angle or need adjusting if I got one of these. Been considering a small table top and legs from IKEA :). Got a large one for my pc and it works great and its what I attach my wheel to atm. Cheap and portable too. But obviously this looks better and folds away etc.

I just received that wheel stand. But how in the hell is that thing so high/long in your video? (see 4:30 ) . Those middle turning knobs are only at knee height when I put the thing upright while in the video it comes at navel height! I might be larger than you guys, but I am not that long!!!

I have that wheel stand. I didn't like it. Now it could have been I did something wrong, but. Everytime I hit the pedals the whole thing would move. It became a very big problem and casuing a few wrecks. I am now in the process of building a rig but I wasn't really impressed with that wheel stand.

mitoand9 Well if it isn't it will be. All you need to do is measure up where the mounting holes are on your wheel and pedals and drill them into the base plates. But, I'd take a guess that the mounting holes from a G27 are the same as the G29 being as it uses the same base unit, so there may be no need to drill at all.

Why does a piece of metal cost so much, they're clearly ripping us off the materials used aren't that expensive. Lets look at it this way a few pieces of ordinary metal and bolts cost £100, a high tech advance steering wheel that took a lot of input and resources to create with, pedals + shifter costs £170, that makes no sense......wheel stands are waaaaaaaaaaaaay overpriced. Talk about it in anyway you want the simple face is its a piece of metal bolted to another piece of metal that has a few holes in it.

Rachid Khamlichi you know its not a little piece of metal. It has to be shaped and made with har metal. plus a lot of moving parts which makes it more expensive. If that aint cheap then i dont know what is. Its a great stand for a really low price. Wait till you fond the stands for thousands of dollars.

Yes. I first had a T150 when I bought this. It does not hard mount with screws and bolts though. just the factory mounting bracket that came with the T150

@@Stormtrooper-bx9lq for me, it stays in place. I tightened it pretty hard. Really, I only recall the Omega's stand wobbling while it was mounted. I tightened the wing nuts pretty good to correct it.

There is a bit of sideways wobble with this stand , I use a Logitech g920 on mine and even though that wheel has weak ffb it still makes the stand wobble ! I think it could do with some vertical support to stiffen it up .

The wheel stand is great it moves a little - just a little, but you don't notice it til after you look down at the wheel stand and it move maybe a inch. I am a racing fan and love racing sim games. I got a T300 racing wheel which I love and bought this wheel stand for it. I am missing a piece for actually mounting the wheel. I have tried several times emailing GT Omega but never a response. Once they had my money they could care less about me. I don't have a lot of money and now I have this useless hunk of metal sitting in my room. I finally had to buy another wheel stand. There are other reputable companies out there from whom you can and should buy products. If you don't want to lose your money I recommend avoid this shoddy company.
