Pretty disappointed you didn't show the left to right wobble with the T300 mounted on top. Push it side to side and watch it wobble away, takes away some of the FFB. The rest of it is okay

Great review as always. I’ve purchased one for my CSL Elite with LC. Should be fun. I also have a Wheel stand pro but I couldn’t get the GTS plate delivered to Australia because of COVID. Oh well so I got the Omega instead.
@chikifree3 жыл бұрын
this is the setup ive been thinking of getting. how is it?
@DaniMacYo3 жыл бұрын
@@chikifree I’ve been having fun with it I honestly love it. The LC brake is very different and takes some getting used to compared to the G29 I had. But it’s fine after an hour it feels normal. It’s very still when you first get it but that’s because the settings on the wheel itself are at 100 percent. So I left my brakes stock with the original weight around 20 KG of pressure I think. and adjusted the brake settings within the wheel itself to 20 or 30 because I’ve got a standard office chair I’m sitting in. If you got something that won’t slide back you can turn the pressure up to your liking. Overall I’m a better driver because of this wheel. It’s just so much smoother than the G29.

Looks like a great option for getting a setup when space is limited. I would have loved one of these a few years back, would have been much better than the tiny coffee table I used tot use.

I have it with a TS-PC Racer and the rear frame and RS9, it makes you a rather solid rig and really inexpensive (even cheaper with a car seat from a car scrap yard), one big advantage as well is the overall foot print with the rear seat frame, it is one (if not) the most compact rig on the market (120x48cm)

@SebastienBrunier5 жыл бұрын
@@erudzitis84 it is a lot of money, that is true, but with a second hand car seat and the rear frame that doesn't cost much, for less than 250 you get a full rig, that is unbeatable value in my book and one of (if not the) cheapest. At least that's what set my mind and my choice.

How does the Classic compare to the Wheelstand Pro? Is it more, er, rigid? I have a Fanatec CSP setup on a WSP (lol) and it flexes too much at high load. If the Classic is stiffer than the WSP then I’ll get the Apex as that should be stiffer still. And a review of the Apex would be awesome.
@randomcallsign5 жыл бұрын
The wsp is not as sturdy. But remember that these products are stop gap measures. Higher rigidity comes at a cost, both in money and in loss of storage.
@virtualgridlock3015 жыл бұрын
@Laurids my ghetto solution for WSP is to loop a chain going from the base of the stand to the base of my office chair and back... this means when I hit the load cell brakes the chain tenses and nothing moves at all. Therefore i don’t have to press the WSP against anything. My problem with the WSP is the top half twists and rocks too easily in its mount. i’ve tried to shim it and everything but it’s still there. i would get a full rig tomorrow but my wife would do bad things to me. @RC thanks for the like! ;-)

My problem is I can't get my chair close enough to this thing. There was no instructions but I'm pretty sure it's set up right but the gear shift is just way too far from the steering wheel. The gear shift arm can't go back any farther because there is a bolt for the pedal stand going right through the adjuster bar. I think I have a newer model because mine looks slightly different from yours but still I am confused because the distance between me and the pedals is ridiculous because of the gear shift.
