GT's LOVE THIS LURE !!! - TOPWATER CANAL FISHING GOLD COAST

Finally got the chance to venture out in the canals again after all that rain , and rubbish weather, my initial plans were to troll for Jacks but having seen some significant bust up activity in the vicinity I switched tactics and grabbed the topwater rod rigged with the 95mm Bassday SugaPen.... 2 casts and Boom !! Yeah I see that probably a trev bending the original hooks , I usually run BKK vipers now for that reason 😉👍

Hey mate - what little divers do you recommend trawling for Jack’s and GTs in the canals?

Hi Aaron , Jackall Squire's, Lucky Craft pointers , Evergreen Gran Searchers , Daiwa Double Clutch they all work well , I prefer 65mm-90mm sizes I find they work best. Troll speed around 3knots for Jacks and faster for Trevs 👍 😉
