now that I see this car back, I remember there's some jokes with the name of it and the Mitshubishi Pajero in the spanish GT comunity. You see, Nardo is a way one can use to describe the penis (although it's use has faded over time), and Pajero is... lets say a man that really hugs himself a lot, if you know what i mean. It is in fact so bad, the second car sells here as Montero.
