And then people started making over 1000whp completely stock with turbos😂 I think the a few have made 1200whp completely stock. The oil pump only becomes an issue when you slam the limiter. Good things about having the mustang on video:1) you can prove that the oil pressure loss was before you went off track and that it was what caused you to go off track because of oil on the brakes.2) you immediately turned it off after it dinged which means you definitely followed the cars instructions 3) losing oil pressure on the track not doing anything crazy would be about the same as losing oil pressure on an on ramp and not being able to slow down because it went on the brakes and going into the grass between said random on ramp and freeway 🤷‍♂️ I would say just drop it off at Ford and put a note on the wheel that says NO OIL just to cover yourself lol maybe disconnect the battery so they dont try and crank it too

US specs also don't come with rollcages. Porsche can't import them, cause they'd be considered race cars that way. Dealers offer to install them after you've purchased the car though

There are differences between the Euro and the US spec of the cars, for instance I'm pretty sure the US cars cant be spec'd with the half cage thus no place for the harnesses to be mounted.

if memory serves me there was a recall on the oil cooler lines, they travel up front to the front bumper. but those coyote engines are also known for the oil pump gears blowing up and causing low oil pressure from high RPMS

Great video, and great driving bud. Well done. Your driving is more precise in the GT3 RS. I also noticed while driving the GT3, RS, you are not getting back on the power till after you reach the apex, and not taking full advantage of the massive traction due to rear engine. you could start leaning on the power right before you reach the apex, and that will give you higher exit speed out of corners and probably allow you to shave an additional 1 to 2 seconds from your best lap time in the GT3 RS. Again great driving, but I would check that left front wheel to make sure you didn’t bend the wheel as it hit hard. It is probably ok but just to be sure, just throw it on the wheel balancer machine which would tell you immediately if it is bent. Loved the video, please Keep videos like this one coming. Mark

Adam is a class driver. Especially with drifting. With track driving though you will find benefits if you have a less violent turn in. All well and good in drifting but smooth is fast with track driving. Smooth steering and definitely smooth throttle.

The oil leak shows up on track with the GT3 camera at the 14:21 mark. Clearly before the turn the 350 was puking out oil and with a rear facing camera that would have showed up out the back. 350's are known for oiling issues, but I assume you already knew that. Good luck finding the gremlin.

My bet would be the filter issue. Those cars were known for that a few years ago and Ford changed the design after a while. Regardless of the issue, it happened before you went off course so Ford should cover that under warranty if there's engine damage. That's the coolest thing about the GT350 to me, that it's a warrantied track car. Hope it all works out man!

Adam, you need to purchase MMR Billet Oil Pump Gears. Both the Voodoo (5.2) and the Coyote (5.0) are known for their oil sending probelms (Coyote less so). Same thing happened to me with my GT350 on track, oil filter cam loose and sprayed everywhere, hydroplanning on my oil. Ford did cover everything, but I kept everything hush hush. I changed my filter to the new design, so I installed the oil filter adapter, its like $400.

The old saying is once you your vehicle warns you that you have an oil pressure issue it's generally to late. As far as the dry sump system I was wrong I was thinking of the gt350rR-C.

@@_Bonez12 as I stated it notifies you at a set point. I'm pretty sure the gt350 does not measure it's oil by what's in the pan but what's circulating in the system. In addition this is standard for every vehicle it's how the system works and I'm pretty sure he said he noticed it dropping and killed it. It takes time for a pressured system to lose pressure and if it's not a sudden loss in pressure their is nothing that can really be done. It's something that happens routinely at the pinnacle of racing. F1, NHRA, NASCAR & the late Group B.

I've heard that people get carbon ceramic brakes on new cars, they proceed to install steel brakes in the initial miles and enjoy the car. When selling the car, re-install the ceramic brakes that are still brand new. It increases the resale price of the car.

Adam the steel rotors are actually better performing overall, at every temp other then melting. Lots of people that use their gt3 on the nurburing have steel rotors but keep their carbons off the car because they make the car much easier to resell.
