Hey slap the SRT Tomahawk X can be tuned to do around 440MPH whilst using the nos button which retracts all of thhe aero and uses the pneumatic boost system. Basically like DRS and KRS on a f1 car. :D

Two tips : 1. Press your nitro button to lower your flaps for going FAST. 2. Change the oil in the pitstop it cost 250 credits and boosts the horsepower from around 2500 hp to around 2700 horsepower

If you want to go test your cars speed, go to special stage route X. It's a pure straight track. Also when using the tomahawk use the r1 button to unlock its full speed. It takes the aero off. But if you'll fuel consumption , taking the aero off it uses the battery

I don't know if you noticed afterwards, but those cars can go even faster if you hold down the R1 button on long stretches like on Sarthe. The spoiler goes down and seals into the car, giving a massive boost in speed, and I've gotten that thing well over 300 MPH. The Tomahawk X I only got to 411 MPH (or 662 km/H)

Kapris2020 its a game and not a simulator at that which means its not meant to be ralistic to add to this i rarely hatete non living objects due to the fact they were made by humans .... i liked forza because the cars were very slippy and stupid people could not keep up at all and in drifting you could pull few slides easily but to do the the perfect drift lines and to not hit a wall was alot harder than people think but going back to my comment it was made as a joke seeing how fucked up this car looks on the track i never played any of the gt so cant say shit about the physics

On your wheel there is a special button for drag mode which allows the car to go faster. It'll put the wing down so nothin is sticking up which gives it more aero

***** I was obviously talking about GT6 vs Forza 5 because of course looking at gran turismo is going to seem a bit disapointing when looking at it from the perspective of someone who has been playing Forza 5, Drive Club, The Crew and Project CARS but really GT5 and GT6 had the best graphics for any racing game of its generation. way more advanced shading than Forza 3 and 4 had and really sometimes the shading looks more realistic than it does in forza 5 where if you took a photo of a car and compared it to a screenshot in GT6 and a screenshot in Forza 5 i bet you the colours would look closer to the real life photo in the GT6 version than the Forza version.

@TheSLAPTrain1 You forgot to use the "low drag" mode on the Tomahawks. That's why 7th gear wasn't doing much. By holding the button you have set for nitrous, the car's aerodynamics rest and air flows over the car smoother, causing the car to reach the speeds at the limit of their 7th gears.

The 2590 horsepower tomahawk that you're talking about is the X version. It weighs only *749 kilograms* and yes, it's got the 2590 horsepower V10 and that one can top out at *404 mph* What you bought was the S version which "only" has 1000 horsepower and weighs 921 kilograms.

General rule of thumb with GT: The faster it is, the harder it is to use a wheel. That's why almost everyone has done the Vettel challenges with a Dualshock. Same applies with these cars. The Tomahawks are easy to drive. Just not with a wheel, as per design.
