Defintely do not kill Salvatore before this mission. I almost rage quit. Old GTA had harder consequences.

If your driving skills are really good maybe you can find a lucky run with the BP Patriot you got as a gift from Ray. I haven't tested it but I know that this race is easily doable in a simple police car even if you crash into some cars here and there.

@@test-ni2dw sure, the thing is that in the mafia turf two shotguns shots and your done or one if you had previous damage. I honestly like playing it with all the gangs against you but before I had so much primal rage, haha.

yes, and that's the reason Ray gives you his BP (bulletproof) Patriot after the mission 'Marked Man'. If you've completed the mission hectically switching to pedestrian vehicles in Saint Marks (as couple of Definitive Ed. players do here on KZbin), then respect, that's a grind. But if you haven't yet, use the BP Patriot or get yourself one of the BP Cheetahs your opponents drive in the race, there are tutorials for that on KZbin

@@test-ni2dw I know but I prefer the hard way, MSX FM and a Banshee. Worth it even if it takes a while to pass it.

Done that before the dreadful mission where Claude kills Salvotore Leone and the Mafia with shotguns that Saint Marks is now a no go area for Claude.

When i played this for the first time in late 2013, this mission made my life hell. I didnt know abt the fast car and had to work for hours before somehow winning the race with my slow car

When the game came out, I remember seeing this mission as extremely difficult to complete with skill alone... try it with the firetruck... it is mostly a one shot now.

I remember i can't beat this mission because of the mafia, so i beat the main story to get the tank on the camp, then i used it to block the racers way so they will blow up Haahhaha Good Times!

Aren’t the cars in this race damage proof, how can you explode them

@@loganweiss7675 yes they are Bullet Proof, Fire Proof and Explosion Proof. But if a tank touches them, they explode.

My AMD/ATI Radeon graphics card driver offers this option.

I had the Borgnine Taxi unlocked from completing 100 fares. I literally flipped it right by the Diablo turf, it caught on fire and exploded. I was still able to run and grab an entirely new Borgnine that spawned at the taxi building and still managed to win.
