I remember I met a kid on GTA IV multiplayer who I became friends with. I learned he lived like 20 minutes away and he eventually moved to the same school district as me lol

Just recently I've had two other occasions in an online game where I've met people who live 20 minutes away, it's so weird Edit: actually there was another time on gta where I met some annoying little kid that was 15 minutes away but we weren't friends. I said I'd beat him up but my mom overheard that and yelled at me lol

i swear the detail in the damage to the cars in this game is the best ive seen in a game. even most racing games dont have damage that detailed. shit is amazing if its damaged by the wheels the wheels will even lock up and you will be driving with 3 and one locked. this game was so good man. fucking awesome

GTA4 had controversial driving a lot of people liked it and a lot of people hated it so they changed it up for GTA5. I never played GTA 4 so I don’t have an opinion for it, I only played GTA San Andreas, three and five

Has problems like Heavy Trucks have insanely good turning radius and actually driving properly is slower than grinding but otherwise it’s pretty good probably the best in the series.

The handling was more realistic, you felt the limits of your car. You also helped the PC shift gears lifting the throttle, driving takes pure skill in GTA 4.

You can... actually... if you have a pc. It’s actually possible to play GTA IV Online on PC, I recently just watched a video tutorial on how to download it made by Internet Rob just last night, he did a great job making it step by step, I downloaded it, and was able to play it.... Just so you know, it’s actually my First Time playing GTA IV Online, I only got interested in it because of how people have expressed their love and loyalty to this game and how it meant a lot to them and said this game was just Pure Fun and Simple and Nostalgic, it immediately reminded me of the good old times playing online with actual people on other games like Team Fortress 2 which sadly is not doing well right now while servers are being filled with bots. I figured I would get nostalgic and feel the same vibe and also meet friendly people as I have in TF2 despite that I having never played GTA IV Online before, and it brought tears to my eyes.... because I did. It’s my first few minutes of gameplay and I’m already having the time of my life and felt the same experience as I’ve had in Friendly Servers with Friendly People in TF2, no toxicity, just Pure Friendliness, I just joined and someone immediately welcomed me after chatting it’s my first time playing on it, and ironically enough, his user or player name is *Dan Houser.* For a second I actually thought it’s the real Dan Houser, but i immediately let go believing that, though his name was convenient and was the Perfect Guy to welcome me into the game. I genuinely appreciated him, though it also felt quite lonely since there were only just a few people and sometimes there’s just 3 of us, but I’ve had the same fun, met the same friendly people, as I have from my other Favourite Game, TF2. Not to mention, this all just happened last night.

God I want to go back to this so badly. I miss GTA IV multiplayer so much. Dogfighting in Annihilators and Buzzards (and winning!) was one of the most exciting things for me. Racing around in the Sultan RS with friends, or flying through the city at breakneck speeds in the Police Stinger. Holding big shootouts in Burger Shot until your PS3 started lagging out. Just having fun without anything to ruin it like Bullshit Testosterone, flying cars and motorcycles, lock-on missiles, or rage lasers. I wish it could all come back, but with quality of life improvements and updated textures. I would sink so many hours into it all over again.

this game is sooooooooooooo much better holy shit. also ghillie, there's another place at the airport that annihilator's spawn. on top of a building in the big airport parking lot. you can jump onto the roof on foot from the looping overpass. that's how i got my helis when there was too much action around the 3 main pads and almost nobody knows about it.

Something of note to me about GTA 4 is that particle effects look way better, there’s more of it and it just looks more satisfying, also explosions are way more violent and have more going on to them, a grittier look.

you know outside of the animations, and the way the names and the death messages are shown, this game looks far more advanced than gta 5 ever was, like how did we go so backwards, I mean look how cool this foggy ambiance looks at 4:18 to 7:04, as I seriously thought this was running on the xbox series x with how good it looks here thanks to how much the fog adds to the look of the game.
