Lamar was the first friend any of us had in GTA Online and i'm glad the writers made it seem like the player was involved with our contacts as buddies instead of cold, distant business partners. One other thing to mention, although it isnt shown here, is Lamar's success during the missions where you play as the Story Characters - Lamar is a faithful contact in Story and Online and his moment of triumph with LD Organics after 8 years of GTA was the best part of the DLC.

No Online, no jobs, races, heists, anything. Throw in Lowriders and Lamar is practically a main character.
