A comment I saw made a very accurate assessment when they said that this piece really captures the true sadness behind the story of GTA V. I was literally ecstatic with my brother over it Now, I'm almost 20. I listened to this... and I'll admit, I teared up, I cried a little bit. Each day is more valuable than we think. This was the biggest game in the world when it released back then… I was only 11 years old, and I remember being as excited as everyone else here in the comments. I couldn’t get it for a little bit but eventually I got it when I was 12. The world of Grand Theft Auto V was amazing. I had an unimaginable amount of fun playing it as a curious and energetic kid. Me and my friends played online together, had fun with races, missions, role playing. As the years went on, we all continued playing, but the.. magic of GTA V was slowly fading, and before we knew it we were all on the verge of adulthood… we played a few more times, and suddenly one day.. we all stopped playing together. Yes, we keep in contact but.. we’re all now adults, with jobs, and futures. Every single one of us wishes we could go back in time to the days of playing old games like this, and not caring about making it to a job the next morning, or paying bills… But the memories.. they’re still pure.. and will last forever in our hearts. Hopefully one day when GTA 6 comes out we can all manage to sit down and play again.. like old times.

man... i was 4 when gta came out. my parents were never strict and didnt believe in censoring me, so i played this game at that age... i honestly miss those days. the days when my parents loved each other, i wasnt homeless, i had no younger sibling to protect from all the trauma... and to think it can all be brought back by a single tune. i truly miss 2013... im 13 now, turning 14 on august 6th. my life sucks now, but at least i have dome amazing memories to cling to. love you rockstar games... even if you only care about money nowadays, you made my childhood so special.

I was 5 years old when this was released. And I haven't even noticed it has been that long. I got this game when I was about 8 or 9 years old. The Main Menu OST gives me chills and makes me teared up. 2016-2017 was the best years of mine anyways. Sad/Happy at the same time to be 15 and now we're talking about GTA 6. Such a relaxing/sort of sad music I must say

Jesus… I was only 13 years old when GTA V released and you make me feel old haha, that’s insane, but I guess you being 15 now is no more crazy than me being 23 now. I was only just finishing grade 8 when this game released, and now I’m an adult trying to get my life together and make the most of my existence, but in so many ways I still feel like I’m not ready, like I’m still just that 13 year old kid, how quickly everything changed, it’s truly felt like these last 10 years have flown by.

I have met my girlfriend 5 years ago. She was the sweetest person I've ever seen and what I most liked about her was how she included me in every little moment: basic shares, music, making food and especially playing video games. We decided to get GTA V because it would be cool to be in a "partners in crime" situation, what we didn't predict is that we would so much fun making heist strategies and theorize about its mysteries like the jetpack and big foot kind of thing. One day, she got a strong headache, she said it was fine and It was probably due to stress or something but 3 or 4 hours later she had a seizure and passed away at the hospital. I'm not going into details. This week I've opened GTA V again but now on story mode, I couldn't do it. I couldn't play it without crying I couldn't stop remembering about her. So I paused the game, staring blankly to the wall for 30 minutes or so. I love GTA V and I also love her, these exact reasons prevents me to open that game again. Thank you my love I just wish I could see you again.

i appreciate this game as an art, whether or not it was intentional, this music to me captures a long gone feeling resonating the early 2010s.. the california map as a whole, los santos international airport, the glass structures and the vehicles, it's almost like a dark nostalgic feeling. it also has a conclusive feeling hinting that 'this was gta.... or this was life....' as moments from the game flash by, everything from the time that pedestrian by the shore asked you for a ride to the airport and the rainy day where you took the los santos subway.. it all comes together as one deep dark nostalgic feeling and as this tune plays
