GTA 5 (PS3) - Quality difference Component vs HDMI

HDMI looks sharper in my eyes. Component looks a tad soft and you can see it in the subtitles.

The difference is more visible when you compare the two in person, on video, it doesn't change much

You mean while playing it on the Tv? It's very strange and definitely not normal XD How have you connected the PS3 to the TV and the HD pvr?

Not with GTA5 specifically. and yeah my setup is PS3 - >HDPVR ->TV and I've been experimenting with it. I play flawlessly with a high speed HD cable but there is input delay with component. This only happens with online gameplay in naruto ultimate ninja storm 3, everything else is fine.

HDMI looks better. I've noticed this on my PS3 as well but the thing is, when I use component cables (to record using a hauppauge) I notice some input delay when playing Online. its ridiculous -.-

Seems to be a problem of Naruto Ultimate Ninja, because i never had any kind of problem, both HDMI to component. The only lag that i see is on the PC on the recorder software but i think it's normal.

On me ps3 hdmi it looks better somehow? Maybe you put it in low quality

Yeah, you cant see any difference, and btwbi have a cheap hdmi and it is awesome
