It's weird to think that some places are right next to each other in game but 50 miles away in real life. The gold course is right off the street and next to the playboy mansion, but irl the golf course is probably not just right off the street and next to the the playboy mansion. I'm from Long Beach, and the part of LS that Franklin comes from was basically my backyard as a kid. Always a bit of a trip when I haven't played in a while and when I load up GTA5 I'm suddenly back in my childhood neighborhood.

What about staples center, Long beach:larger than miami, rancho Palos verdes, North Hollywood,USC,LA live,Burbank,Glendale,Long beach airport, burbank airport, Hunninton beach, Manhanteen beach, Brea tar pits, Dodger stadium,all the hundreds of buildings in downtown they forgot,and Long beach,and hollwood, All the gateway cities, most 100k plus cities; bigger than a lot of state capitals, the size of the port in real life is the size of los santos, the air port and the port are 15miles away not 1 and Hollywood is 7 miles away not 1, the port is 20miles not 2 compton is 11 miles not 1, Venice is 15 not 1.5, santa Monica 16 not 1.7, Beverly hills 8miles not 1, And Malibu is 35 not 3

Sadly most of the buildings on GTA 5 are no longer in Los Angeles County due to gentrification (basically to get of rid lower income families and some would say they do to get of certain racial groups which sometimes is true). Like the Pacific Sands Motel (3:13) which was demolished and replaced with a new higher end hotel called the Shore Hotel. Also "The Standard Hotel" (4:23) on Hollywood Sunset Blvd is now being renovated as the property was sold and they are planning to change the name of it.

Fantastic Job!!! Grew up here in LA and all around. I did notice a couple with respect. And I can think of quite a bit more but... The cable car in Palm Springs seemed left out and I could be wrong but LFP (Hustler Magazine's) building is in the game too. Even the flowers in GTA5 are accurate. California poppies and lupine. Great job!

+THE PUNISHER Military base is not yet discovered as rockstar actually added it them selfs. But sandy shores and Trevor's house there is called a black Dead Sea or something in real life. It's actually abandoned area nobody lives there.

Too many real life locations not nearly enough suburban housing. They really need to suburban it up on Los santos because there don't look like there are nearly enough houses for all the supposed 4 million people that are supposed to live there.
