Amber lights could in no way be taken as a police impersonation (irl). Yes, these cops (who will and have pulled you over for crossing a double yellow when pulling out of a driveway) would pull you over and have 10 units on scene in 30 seconds just for using amber lights. It's so annoying (the cops) also do more episodes where you are actually cops, those are fun

Jeff defiantly enjoy this DOJ episode, really funny! I currently do loss prevention at a mall so I under stand the struggles of cops not liking security. But my security team has an outstanding relationship with our local police. a fre leo's work off duty with me at the mall as well. You'll have to do another video of this it was great!!

I have a funny story related to this video. I am 16 and I am a freelance news stringer so I have amber and white lights in my car. We were looking at movies at the theatre and we wanted to see “Ford vs Ferrari” we noticed that the seats were almost sold out so we raced out to my car and got in it. When I was starting the car, I asked “do we have code amber clearance?” He said yes not knowing what I meant so when I turned the lights on he said “oh, no no... nooo.” I just said I was given code amber clearance, sorry” I turned them off when we got to the intersection that exits our neighborhood but I would say that is one of my funniest life experiences so far. 😂

You cant legally make someone leave when they are on a public walkway. Even if theres no sidewalk, up to 8 feet in from the road is Public Easement or Right Of Way. If theres a paint curb, signs, phone poles or street lights, its all public land and your Constitutional Rights protect you from being removed from that spot.

You can drive with strobes on as long as there not Red and blue I work security and use lights on the public roadway to assist motorist but it’s not illegal to use them on the road as long as you don’t break traffic laws

I love the Charger’s light pattern, but something just occurred to me. According to their SA DOJ laws, you can have amber lights on the road, unless you have a car that the cops use, in which case it’s police impersonation? I read over the penal code (admittedly it may have changed since this episode) and there aren’t laws against amber lights. (I get that the reason for this is probably the G6 amber lights actually move AI to the side)
