I will say to fully take advantage of these spots you have to start a freeroam race sorta thing or find a way to control traffic.

Very good point! Although some of these spots are more isolated, for the best experience, starting up a freeroam race (which is what I did to get the clips in the video) is the way to go!

My Rapid GT has full power upgrades, stock brakes, and low-grip tires. That's about it, should do pretty good in competitions! Another good car to use for those is the Massacro Racecar!

What Aidan said; that's a reverse entry drift, where I'm using the brakes at a high angle to help stabilize my car. It's pretty simple - just a matter of setting up a custom race job, then turning traffic off in the lobby options!
