Can I challenge you, Brazen or one of the other regular circuit builders to make "The Great FailRace Blimp Race" circuit for 1 or more round(s) of a future series. There has to be some way of making it work. Would be highly entertaining!
@jamesclark45324 жыл бұрын
To avoid Alex on pole every race, shuffling the field during the first 2 or 3 minutes every race so last place in the points has the pole and 1st is in the back would make this even more exciting, especially from the viewers POV. It makes the racing more even, and gives us more opportunities to see Alex work through the field to get into a good finishing place and be able to see tight finishes and big early lap crashes without having to change viewpoints so much, especially when he's focused on getting a good finish rather than looking back at Gliscor taking out half the field with impatient driving. This also potentially helps keep the points spread a little more even so more guys have a shot in the last few races. As much as I like Formula 1, a huge points spread from 1st to 4th with only the top 2 or 3 having a shot at the overall championship is a bit meh. Also that Caddy build of yours is sick. Love the look.

I'd love to see these more "serious" events. Racing vans and tractors is silly and fun, but racing with purpose-built vehicles is equally entertaining to me. Edit: I should also add the same applies to circuits. Track made of blimps vs Bathurst replica, ya know?

I rather like this, it's different from the usual GTA races. Maybe try a form of rolling start for thematic purposes in future races? I don't know much about touring cars I'll admit so I don't know how those races work in real life but it'd be pretty neat I think. Also, I think Gliscor had a bit of a prying the door open moment in that first race, but that's just my outsider perspective. Don't know what exactly was going on of course. Also also, these circuits all looked really well made, hope there's more of them over the course of this series and in any future ones you decide to do.
@Dangerman80004 жыл бұрын
I'm not too sure what people don't understand with catchup and slipstream. If just catchup was on, any overtake would be damn near impossible with how balanced all the drivers are (trust us we know, we tried it and it didn't work.) If just slipstream was on then any 2 cars could simply run away at the front and Alex (or anyone else for that matter) could get stuck in complete no-man's land and that's not enjoyable for anyone. If they were both turned off then any accident Alex caused or got caught up in would be a death sentence for him in that race. He would end up driving around on his own, occasionally making up places if other accidents occurred. Everyone who is suggesting doesn't have to make an entertaining video for over 400 thousand people to watch, so what is the problem with having slipstream and catchup turned on, which we all know provides interesting and unpredictable racing which at the end of the day we all want. So if the price for an interesting, exciting and unpredictable race is the loss of some realism, isn't it a price worth paying.
@ptsdpamphletcompany58904 жыл бұрын
I think a good thing for this would be either turning off Catch-up or Slipstream, not both just one or the other, also lining the racetracks with some more barriers to leave less run off and push players more to defend through the corners. also perhaps others have suggested doing the wait one minute before you start as well as rearranging the grid for the purpose of championship points, I would suggest a rolling start. Hopefully some day in the future GTA V will include the tyre wear mechanics and pitstops as an option regular and sport races and not just in the open wheel races. (Coming from someone who hasn't thought to hop into one yet.) Also if the chance ever arises, a Classic NASCAR, with the Hustler, and Classic Sports, kinda like British saloon car racing in the 60s, would be very cool.

Heya FailRace, got a suggestion for you: A gamemode where 15 players must board 1 train within a reasonable time (perhaps 30 minutes to an hour) in order to defend it for 24 in-game hours against you. The defenders must select and board a train, and once boarded they cannot leave; they must act as a team to survive. The defenders may not bring with them any vehicles (they can however move from carriage to carriage), however they may use body armour and any weapons, excluding explosives. Defenders have 1 life, so if a defender dies, they must join the attacking team, and stay on the attacking team even if they die again, but on the attacking team. The attacking team has unlimited lives, may use any standard LAND-based vehicles (which must not have armour or weapons attached to them, such as the Rhino), and may use any weapons (excluding explosives) both inside and outside of vehicles. As stated before, defenders may not leave the train, but as well as this, attackers are not allowed to board the train (not inside, nor outside of vehicles), nor may they beach vehicles on the train for any reason, whether intentional or not. For the attackers to win, ALL players on the train must be dead. For the defenders to win, at least 1 player must still be on the train by the end of the 24 in-game hours. Do let us know what you think about this idea!
