You can use parachutes in gta 4 when you’re playing one of the game’s DLC’s named gta: The Ballad Of Gay Tony. And it wasn’t included in this video because sadly, the majority of people that finish Niko’s story will do anything but play Luis and Johnny’s stories.

You're right, the story was basic and there wasn't a lot of insight in it but it did fill some empty holes from the main story. I think that's what Rockstar wanted to do though, create short stories with different antagonists and perspectives who played the role in the main story with different features and for me it worked.

This dlc answered some questions of the events that happened in IV and also gives you a bit of backstory to some of the characters you meet in GTA 5 & Online. @NoelCotelo TBOGT was made to add some fun elements that weren't in the original. A more vibrant story and color scheme, fun weapons, zany characters, and fun extras like parachutes and the Buzzard helicopter, among other things. It is the only GTA I play.

GTA V is only better at breaking glass, the glass breaks depending on the area of the blow received. In GTA IV, however, there are glasses that never break, like windshields. Or if they do it looks like you're crushing ice.

Also car windows in GTA V breaks more realistically compared to GTA IV, but having windshields shatter isn't realistic at all. In reality windshields are laminated safety glass.

GTA 5 took away some realism on some things and made other things more realistic. GTA 5 has more realistic looking trees and bushes, being able to swim underwater and it looks great underwater and on GTA 4 you can only breathe underwater a few seconds if you flip your boat, diving when jumping in water, clothes getting wet, the amount of animals they added, shooting glass, the ability to get haircuts and tattoos, I think the taxi drivers were improved a bit, npc drivers move in a more natural way imo too. I’m not saying GTA 4 is worse I do wish GTA 5 had the things that GTA 4 was better at but I think they both have their own strengths. I know GTA 5 has way less buildings you can enter but it also has a lot more side activities. But I just hope GTA 6 takes the strengths of both GTA 4 and GTA 5 and expand on them maybe the amount of time they spent on the game will mean that they didn’t overlook as many details.

GTA 4 blew my mind when I was growing up, the car mechanics alone should me a lot about driving for real. I loved the realism. the switch to higher graphics but less realistic features was very disappointing to me. game went from GTA to buy a car, get insurance, get frustrated when people destroy your car cause you now have to pay to get it back. Its still good, I just didn't like the change in direction, i know it made them millions with in game cash purchases though, so good for them I guess.

The traffic in IV is just way more realsitic. Little things too like how the cars don't line up properly in lanes, the momentum and speed that they drive feels natural (V has them oddly speed up and slow down that feels automated), the turn signals, and how they more readily attempt to slam on the brakes to avoid hitting Niko.

And both of those things are better than a jpeg of a ghost or 4 random UFOs placed randomly over the map like in V. Fear of the unknown is much scarier and idc if it's in story to be honest but keep that sh** outta online

You could actually use parachutes in GTA IV, well kind of. See, if you bought the complete edition, you had the option to either play vanilla GTA IV, Or Episodes From Liberty City, and TBOGT (The Ballad Of Gay Tony.) You can use parachutes in TBOGT.

I noticed today in 4 if you exit a car by holding the button he turns it off. If you just press it he leaves the car running, which leads to quicker getaway as well as hearing the radio outside of the car. GTA v he shuts the car off no matter what

nah in gta5 cars do occasionally use blinikers when theres cars behind as even in real world law blinkers are to indicate drivers behind where u are going but there were no cars behind in gta5
