OMG I cannot thank you enough for this ❤❤, I am planning on getting the 4090 but was confused between 7800x3D for best FPS or the i9 14900K for overall productivity. For the cabinet I will likely get the NZXT H9 Elite and I am planning on getting dual monitors , 2k 240HZ and 4k 144Hz

7800x3d is better because it costs less and has better efficiency, thermals, and performance in almost every game, slightly worse than 14900k productivity wise but better in every other aspect. Plus it's way cheaper too

Get 14900k and undervolt and limit its clock speeds by -100 mhz on each core. this can have drastic improvements on efficiency and heat output. while working or gaming. get atleast 6600mhz+ ram , 64gb or 128gb dual sticks to go along with this.

Intel CPUs need windows 11 for utilizing their full potential meanwhile Ryzen CPUs don't have P/E cores so they pair well with Windows 10 just as well. As much of a privacy and bloatware nightware windows 11 is I would ask you to steer away from Intel processors just cause of that, i3s like 13100 or 14100 don't have E cores so they can be used with windows 10 and I would recommend them over some Ryzen 3s but not anything with E cores, #SoftwareMatters.

@@balwantsinghbhullar windows 12 is gonna come out soon, windows 10 support is ending soon. I wouldn't camp on outdated software for a new build, which would better utilise the current hardware instead of leaving performance on the table.

@@danielvipin7163 Yes and MS will make sure Windows 12 is not an OS packed with Spywares but rather a Spyware packed with OS, also MS will be forced to extend support for Windows 10 as more than 80% PC users have CPUs that are older than 8th Gen and cant run Windows 11 or Later, EU will probably show MS its place forcing it to extend support, imagine 80% PCs being obsolete, just won't happen.

The issue with GTA 5 stuttering is because of Rockstar's engine as it has a limit to which it can render FPS which was about 180-190FPS. If you limit the FPS to 144 or 160 it should work fine.

The console-version of GTA 6 won't be out until somewhere in 2025, we would have to wait at-least one more year for the PC-version. And considering how un-optimized some PC games have become lately, i doubt a GPU from 2022 will be good enough for GTA 6 in 2026.

For gaming purpose why not get the Ryzen 7 7800x3d? Which is much cheaper than i9 14900k, consumes 1/3rd the power and sometimes even outperform i9.... don't think you need anything higher than 7800x3d, and that you can get in 35k-38k depending on offers.

@@attic8427 lol as if 7800x3d is not reliable? Tell me you are an Intel fanboy without telling me you are an Intel fanboy. Are you talking about that Motherboard fiasco with Asus? That was Asus's fault, not AMD. It's on you if you want to buy a CPU that costs 1.8× the 7800X3D while giving you similar performance and consuming 3× the electricity and requiring a liquid I/O Cooler which will cost double that of any air cooler which is more than sufficient for the 7800X3D. As someone who does not need his PC for many things apart from gaming, the 7800X3D is the obvious choice. Unless of course, you do some very heavy productivity work. Even then in i9 is overkill.
