The trailer and everything it showed truly was mind-blowing. This is, without a doubt, going to be one of those “You just had to be there” moments that we’re going to look back on years from now. I was a few years late to the party with GTA 5 and never got to experience the craze surrounding that game, with strict parents and all, so being able to witness and the hype surrounding this game’s reveal and to experience the game’s launch in 2025 makes me both happy and excited. It’s going to be a long wait, but it’ll be very much worth it!

I'm 100% sure that this is the graphical fidelity we're gonna get. Remember RDR 2, just go and watch the trailer. We never thought a PS4 game can look like that. It just makes me emotional seeing this. What can we do to get this in VR? That would be gaming's biggest achievement.

If I had to guess, it's using game assets in the game engine. Which means that the final game should look _about_ this good. They might improve things a bit more, or they might have to dial down some settings to hit their FPS target (which I assume is 30). But most of these scenes look like cutscenes or set pieces, not ordinary gameplay, and the folks who think the beach is really going to be packed with a huge variety of peds all doing beach stuff are in for an unhappy surprise, probably.

The immediate thing I noticed in that trailer was that after playing hundreds of hours of Red Dead Redemption 2 is what tech Rockstar is taking from that game and are carrying into GTA6. The animals for example like the birds and alligators I wouldn't be surprised if they added a hunting aspect because of all of that groundwork Rockstar laid in RDR2. RDR2 is one of the greatest games ever made and seeing multiple pieces of the tech from it in this trailer makes me even more excited. The Bonnie and Clyde duo is also a great idea for protagonists.

I’ve watched this trailer at least 100 times now, and every time I watch it, the trailer puts a smile on my face. I always wondered what a post RDR2 GTA would be like, and to see it in action is wild. Really excited for the story and characters especially. I love the modern day Bonnie and Clyde angle, and I’m curious to see how they follow up RDR2, cause honestly, I don’t know how you top that game narratively. I can definitely tell from the cinematics that they’ve definitely stepped up their game. It really looks like they took all the lessons learned from how cinematic everything felt in RDR2 and brought it to GTA. Anyway, super excited to play this game, can’t wait to see more!

I'm also overwhelmed by this. Just thinking about the amount of hard work that went into it over the past decade, and still in the next 2 years is insane. Hats off to every single person at Rockstar who worked on this, as someone who understands how challenging game dev is as much as you do i'm just in awe tbh, these people are incredibly talented. GTA 6 will make history no doubt and WE WILL BE THERE!

The social media part looks sick. The story and characters seems amazing and that Lucia girl was in a prison suite so there’s probably gonna be a prison break which would be amazing. It also give me a whole fast and furious vibe when she was talking about sticking together

I feel like my guy Jason didn’t get the spotlight not even sure they mentioned his name but I can’t wait to explore their characters, and overall I feel this game took so long cause they weren’t sure what direction to focus on and it feels like they just did research on the crazy Florida man stories and social media craze, I hope they don’t shy away from making fun of absolutely everyone no matter what kinda shade they get just go all out, balls to the walls, even if they take a safe route the game will still be fun as hell and set such a standard for modern gaming for generations.

I really don't think we can go in more than 25% of buildings, because the load time, and file size of the game would be far too big(plus they wouldn't be very interesting).

@@viracocha6409 That would be cool, but I just find it extremely unnecessary. If we can really enter 70% of them then that's one of the main factors it's taken so long, and I just don't really think it'll have been worth the effort. I hope I'm wrong and all the interiors are unique(enough), and/or have a purpose, but if they are all pretty much just copy and pasted, and have no purpose then it is just bloating the file size, potential load times, and potential dips in performance. Again, I hope I'm wrong, because I want GTAVI to be the best entry in the series.

Wonder how well this prediction holds up but.. I think the first part of the trailer is Lucia taking a deal from the feds or police to get out early. Might have something to do with infilrating a gang or ratting on a particular person in exchange for freedom. Could add an intresting layer of drama to the relationship between her and Jason especially if he doesnt know. The "trust? , trust." part really makes it seem like theres certainly gonna be some trust issues

Cannot believe its been a decade since 5 now, no matter how many times I watch this I don't think it'll ever actually feel REAL, not till there's actual straight up gameplay and maybe an eventual beta or something anyways. It's insane though, it damn near looks like a NEXT gen game that isn't even coming out on current stuff, but it IS. Definitely gonna be the "next big thing" kinda game for sure, hell it'll be 2035 and people will STILL be finding out little things hidden all throughout the place, the vibe with the colors and setting seems great tho looking forward to whenever we see more for sure.

I've never played a GTA game, and don't plan to. I enjoy almost every open world game *except* GTA because I have no interest just being a normal human on foot with a normal firearm who can operate normal vehicles sometimes. I also don't believe this game is going to look anywhere near this great, at least not all the time. That said, this was a great react, and if nothing else it will be fun watching this game just absolutely drop kick sales records through the moon and into space.

I’ll be honest, I’m a little concerned. The trailer looks almost TOO good to be true. It kind of reminds me of the marketing for Cyberpunk 2077 where the majority of stuff in the trailers were all pre-rendered scenes that didn’t make it into the game rather than in-engine footage. On a more positive side note, it’s about damn time Rockstar made a game with a female protagonist!
