You ever been a kid in a old man's barber shop? this is how the conversations usually go. everyone is arguing but if you really listen, they're not even having arguing about the same topic. They're arguing similar but very different points. If they'd just listen instead of thinking of their response, they'd realize they're both right...

Kids should get Grace, However they need to learn that, that don't always happen. It's kids locked up for murder. Some got life. Some won't be home until they are in their 50s.

Wondering how Ish would feel if a 18yr old "kid" shot and crippled / killed someone that he is close too? I would never wish that on him or anyone. Just stating that I'm positive if someone he was close to was gunned down, I'm sure he wouldn't be saying "he shouldn't have to suffer the consequences because he was just a kid"
@MsBibiMuneca3 жыл бұрын
Parents need to be more involved with their children. Half the kids getting arrested for gun crimes have parents that swear up and down they were not involved in any criminal activities. Later to find out they were in some sort of gang.

It’s funny cause they was both right just talking about different type of people . Some can learn the lesson the way ish is stating but others do need severe consequences to change kinda like hitting rock bottom. Although with ice I don’t think it should be life long consequences cause at a certain point you learned what you needed too suffering from your past actions just makes things more difficult if you have already changed
@PizzleP3 жыл бұрын
I understand where Ish is coming from, but I have to side with Joe & Ice on this one. I think Ish feels that "grace" or poor decisions you make young provide a grace period for EVERYBODY and that's just not the case. My uncle was a street dude, sold dope, committed robberies, was shot at multiple times, etc. while he was young and later evolved into a Pastor later on in his life; he had a son that was his Junior and he followed the same exact blueprint that my uncle did while he was young. My cousin was shot 4 times and was a quadriplegic in his EARLY 20's and later died in his EARLY 30's. Same life path, but the same grace wasn't granted. You can't take this shit for granted because we "young", sometimes consequences are needed and they need to be enforced or they will be enforced
@onnicent3033 жыл бұрын
Oh nah, this is dangerous.. In 2021 these young kids have guns too. Careful letting your guard down like around a Kid. Young man coulda shot him, especially from that unseen hands angle.. Dangerous..

To be fair human brains are not fully developed until between 21-25 (the reason for alcohol not being legal until then) so teens especially males when left undisciplined can be extremely impulsive. Also their brains are not developed to think through the consequences of actions because of the lack of brain development

Not excusing teenagers completely but their brains aren’t fully developed yet and they are prone to do dumb things. So Ish is right in saying they deserve grace for some of the things they do and hopefully something they did while they were young and dumb having lasting consequences in their lives.
