He’s a psychopath who regresses into his depraved ways almost immediately and rarely shows any signs of a conscience throughout the entire campaign. He willingly does absolutely anything for money, including kidnapping - someone of which he shows great disdain for despite doing nothing wrong. He works for anybody, even if they’re the lowest level of scum, all for the sake of revenge, which is one of the pettiest objectives one can possibly have. At least the other protagonists have no qualms in being psychopaths. GTA IV sets Niko up to be an anti-hero but he’s just a villain through and through, given people with awful moral compasses the misbelief that he has any redeeming features whatsoever morally.
