2001 to 2013 was GTA's golden age. 3 was rough around the edges but it was the first of its kind. VC polished up 3 significantly and had a bonkers soundtrack. SA added a lot of cool features and made the complete 3D era experience. IV rebuilt every thing from the ground up with a darker storyline and insanely realistic gameplay. V felt like a mix of the 3D era games and IV by ditching some of the realism and having a bit more lighthearted storyline. At first Online was a nice expansion to V but with time it became a grindy mess with flying cars and a story that feels like the writers were on drugs while writing it. VI doesn't even exist yet, and *_IF_* it does and has been in development for all these years it will probably be the best game ever or something.

There hints that the game was setting during Fall time due to the clothing NPCs mostly wear being that of colder weather and all the foliage of the trees can be seen with a brown tinge to it. Along with many others hints like the cold breath of the NPCs and Niko.

Imagine Niko who just got off the boat, absolutely unfamiliar with this huge city walking down these mean streets, looking for any opportunity to make money and to find a man who ruined him and killed his friends. When you hear his quote: "I grew up in the war, this means nothing" you know that he really means it and even Liberty City underworld isn't so tough for him. Absolutely badass and deep character.

There were days when I was so lost in my life that I did nothing but fire up GTA IV and drive around in Liberty City on a bike in night time, whenever I got free time (usually in night). The calm and silence of night, was therapeutic in a sense. No missions, no side quests, nothing. Just me, the bike, the night time setting and electro choc. Honestly, I distinctly remember crossing those bridges and pondering over the various things that were wrong with my life. This video reminds me of that. Especially the part with the bridges. Sublime beauty of this video. GTA IV was the outstanding peak in GTA storytelling, in my opinion.

This plays during the first cutscene, but was also the multiplayer match countdown theme. It played when the timer was within 1 minute of running out during whatever match and to indicate it was time to put the most effort for the finish. It’s easily my favourite version of Soviet Connection. Feels very threatening and special. Much better than the other versions. The footage here is priceless, fits perfectly!

The current consoles are The PS5, The Xbox Series X and The Nintendo Switch. Gta 5 has been a thing for almost 8 years now and gta 6 has been a myth for more than 5 years and youtubers are profiting from it by making fake videos about "Unboxing and Playing" GTA VI...

GTA IV is definitely my favorite game of all time I remember the day I bought it still being a teenager I had never played a game like this before. Just looking at the cover and the few pictures it offered I couldn't resist I had to get it. This quickly became the only game I played and once I got xbox live GTA IV online opened up and that was a whole other experience and a half. I ended up making "Niko" my handle ingame/online and it stayed like that for 10+ years. Definitely got a deep nostalgic connection to this game. Time for another playthrough.

God, remember picking up IV in 2008 for the first time and playing through the story? I had gotten a PS3 for Christmas the year before, and gen 7 games felt like real life. On PS2 ever game had a light-hearted feel and a cartoony look, similar to PS4, whereas PS3 games were all dark and gritty, almost as if GTA IV, Uncharted, Assassin's Creed, World at War and real life were all in the same universe. I've never felt so immersed in a virtual world since.

I would put San andreas as better than 4, but 4 is right behind it for me, something about the size style and option in SA just feels more open idk why maybe flying or the diverse terrains and desert. @superstag 3 жыл бұрын
@@sunriseDPL4242 I agree!... But it doesn't have to be dark. It just has to be grounded. The missions revolving around the gsf were great, as it was a personal story.
