When I first started it, I had the goal of getting Gold in everything.. the first 3 sections.. easy enough.. the next two took a bit of grinding but I eventually got them.. the last 5.. I've always preferred the helicopters. Part of it is nostalgia for my trolling days in Gta IV, but I also get impatient while dog fighting in planes. It's just nonstop circling and each player trying to get that dominant position. It takes way too long.

They are when you learn to dodge the homing missiles. Unless it's a Deluxo. Then it's passive mode for me. I don't even feel bad about it since their homing missiles are ridiculously op.

Jet dogfights against "freemode players" doesn't last long, all you have to do is being decent at df. Fighting vs someone who is exclusive jet dogfighter is completelty different thing, but 99% freemode nabs will be dead after few first loops...

Dogfighting with tryhards is the only way how i can deal with them. I really suck at "normal pvp" with guns. Tryhards often bring their hydra so i can blow them up easily

You probably suck (constructive criticism) because tryhards use first-person + Combat MG MKII along with RPG spam and BST + EWO. That’s pretty obvious but if you want to see how you REALLY stack up against them, FPS + Combat MG MKII is the way.

ZEERICH One way i did yesterday: If you fight him near your bunker get in, he will stay at the entrance waiting for you to come out. Get into your Moc and get out. He will try to blow you up (he's on foot usually). Just use your moc trailer as a big shield and kill him with the revolver mkII

My bombing isn't nearly as good as yours - I've been spoiled by infinite bomb Smugglers' Run missions and tend to rely on the multiple bombs. But one thing I've been doing to practice which might be good to share with others is - in a private session, as a CEO or whatever, call in your free Bodhi/Duneloader/Patriot/BeeJay and put it in the middle of an open area - Sandy Shores airfield is great. Simply get used to flying over at different heights, dropping one bomb at a time until you can reliably hit the target. I know it's probably beneath you at this stage but I found it really helpful starting off. Thanks for sharing your secrets btw. :)

Need to get some sorta GTA Pilot's Association so we can get rockstar to listen to our dang input. I played GTA with my buddies because it was a game that I could USE AIR VEHICLES and still BE HELPFUL to my buddies on the ground. While Smugglers and Doomsday gave us some great new options, there are some things like the Volatol and the Mogul that have just completely wasted potential... GTA Pilots must unite!

Way how I see it. The Rogue with all its weapons (Explosive guns, bombs, missiles). More like an A10(yes I know the rogue isnt a jet). I say that cause it just seem like a plane that's more for AG(air to ground) than AA. Yes it can dogfight. But I see it more to AG than AA. I would agree on your list. Its actually helped me quite a bit.

I believe Rockstar should buff the savage up to have countermeasures. In the hands of a pro pilot, and the chafs, the savage would beat any planes or ground targets (as it is good for both)

I know my way of thinking is really old, but I honestly just think the Lazer and Hydra are the best planes. Most air to air victories that I’ve gotten happen on the first pass, without a protracted dogfight. I know it can get outmanoeuvred, especially in the Hydra’s case, but I feel like the massively increased firepower is worth it.

They still have their place in the meta, because it all comes down to the specific pilot and very instances you see yourself in. I sometimes take down multiple Lazers at once in the Starling, while other times have found myself getting destroyed by a single Lazer. They are viable.

don't use flares, they don't even protect you from one of the oppressors rockets. i had a bad encounter with an oppressor, while in my starling, and he wasn't even behind me. i think hummer guy pointed out that there is a bug with the flares. at least for now the chaff is the best. the starling and pyro can out turn all of your basic rockets, so flares aren't necessary.

Cryo The Hunter do the same thing with the akula. Just make sure the bomb bay is already open when you enter stealth mode. Fly low and fast with bomb bay open and in stealth. Disable stealth about 2sec before drop and then a sec after that drop some bombs and hit stealth again. Just make sure you approach from a different angle on the next run to keep them guessing and don't slow down at all. Give them the least chance to see you and try not to take the same approach twice.
