I've been taking mosquito bike riders down left at right with the Marksman rifle mk2. For some reason they like getting as close as possible to me. The Halftrack is great for this also with mines and dont add the armor on the windows so you can throw sticky bombs

Adding to this with another concept introduced in Bikers:Biker melee. Two shots max health players, ragdolls them, can be done with everything when moving. Very risky, but when pulled off with a passenger guarantees a kill due to the two consecutive strikes. A very slept on mechanic.

@@chrisupton6190 You are right, but a MK2 is less humiliating. Pop a rocket, that’s it. But if you get close like the Biker Melee demands (or any melee), it’s something that you could’ve prevented if you die from that. In short, humiliation factor.

Using the Stone Hatchet makes it a one hit AND you get the rampage in lobbies.

@@SNAKE.LOVER.69 It's only a one hit if you hit them with the blade/stone wedge of the hatchet hitting them any closer becomes a 2 shot kill meaning it doesn't work even after killing them.

Since it's tied to Bikers update, better system would be if you could just do a mission from the clubhouse to change favourite bike. It's just enough that it would stop being able to switch it constantly to different oppressors to grief people.

The favourite attribute applies to the bike model, not just a specific bike. Mine is the bati RR and I have 4 of them, they all give me the bonus. So if your fave is the opp and you have multiple opps, they are all your fave. And anyway, it seems the cooldown for opps affects all opps not just the one called. Calling mors to restore the destroyed opp is probably faster now than calling in the next opp in your collection.

@@KimonFrousios what griefers usually do to avoid the cooldown is having their Terrorbyte nearby them, if their Mk2 os destroyed and they already got another vehicle to be claimed on the MMI phone call menu, the Mk2 they claim will be sent back directly to their Terrorbyte.

@@Econ1991 the Mk1 isn't nearly as bad as the MK2. Not even close. Worse, very dodgeable missiles, difficult to control, very easy to fall off... It was just annoying back then because there weren't as many counters as there are today. Plus the spam which also got nerfed

I've always advocated for the Favourite Bike option, should be changeable in your MC Clubhouse as and when you want, maybe give it a 24 hour cool down. The current system is terrible.

The current system makes sense But only from launch perspective They had no idea what bikes would end up in the final game, and originally only had 10 bikes including the bmx bikes So its actually a smart system, cuz the original bikes weren't staples of combat, they were gas tanks on wheels. You jump from when you saw a tank or red dot

I was actually thinking about making the Manchez Scout my favorite bike too just because of how fun it is to ride but I may make the Shotaro my favorite because I use it so much in bike races. Right now, the Oppressor is set as my favorite bike and the only one I've been using lately is the Oppressor MKII (for grinding, not griefing).

@@d3lusn629 Glad to see an honest comment here, everybody attacks other players at times, it's GTA, but we pretend that there is a reason other than that is part of the game. I think there needs to be clarification of what griefing is but its such a loose word that its personal based on the experience at both ends of the griefing process. If I become aware that I am griefing, ie a message such as no please stop, then I stop, its as simple as that. I attack randoms but I dont deliberately continually attack players without a reason, which may or may not be acceptable to the other player. Ive also been head shot 30 times when I have asked the player to stop and deliberately stood still, alas I didnt record that experience for posterity. But its nonsense to pretend that we are not all capable of being griefers and that we are the good people all of the time, thats childish nonsense right there.

BatiRR here, first owned vehicle. I supsect I'd have to spend several hours driving around the motorway loop to get it dethroned but i think it is still doable coz I've been riding a mix of other bikes instead for a long time. Bati is a pretty decent bike. I just hate the engine sound of it.

Anyone else? I was new to GTA and was tired of being doninated in freemode. I looked for stats, trying to find definitive weapon/ammo damage. After sorting thru flack, Ghillie's comprehensive and concise videos were the only fact based and accurate source that I remember. Even learned how to shunt hop along the way. Ghillie should've added footage of math of adding the riding formation for bikes and see how much of a benefit it is with the 2. I know the game will prioritize the formation healing over favorite bike but I think the damage reduction stays

FINALLY SOME ANSWERS. I've posted that question on the forums all the way back when bikers update released and ive never received an answer. I ve been cycling between my bikes and no matter what I tried my Hexer always stayed favorite. Time to rubber band with the OPmk2 so i can grind cayo more efficiently.

I remember going through deliberate effort to make my Oppressor my favorite bike when I first got it. This was before the Mk. II came out and I was using it for literally everything. Going to my businesses to do check ups and buy supplies? Broomstick. Actually participating in sales and want to get them done faster? Broomstick.

well my favourite bike is the oppressor mk1 so rip hollowpoint revolver I've used it the most because I love just exploring with it and trying to get on top of maze bank is always a nice daily challenge, and there's a game I play with other people where I start from the LSIA hanger at the very bottom and try to play the floor is lava and see who can go the longest distance towards the north part of the map and thats how I learnt the many ways you can recharge the boost and the movement tricks to it

I have the MK2 as my favorite as most do, I knew about the health regen thing for a while but I didn't know it was actually tied to the favorite bike but still so useful for not having to waste snacks on something like a headhunter or source mission and be able to save all that for the couple annoying missions I end up cycling through in my grind loop.

If MK2 didnt exist then there would be more lazers, toreadors and avengers running around. Removing the MK2 at this point would solve literally nothing imo because they would just move to the next thing like godmode jets or vans.

The biggest difference is that you need some skill to use the lazer, avenger and toreador in an effektive way, this is not the case with the mk2, a monkey could use it and be an effective griefing machine (and alot of monkeys actually use them)

@@AreGeeBee For me a MK2 is easier to deal with than those 3 since it is 1 shot to a C4 or because I'm always riding around in a toreador where as any time I'm attacked by a lazer it's a semi competent pilot who can destroy any vehicle in one strafe and will vertical dive to avoid explosive sniper, toreador is really more of a detriment to any mission vehicles since it takes more to destroy or kill the one in it. take the VIP work mission plowed for example, I get a lot of mosquitos to buzz around thet phantom wedge but generally they're easy to deal with because they can't lock on meaning they have to fly within C4 throwing range & usually after their MK2 gets blown up they don't try again. As for the avenger I just still have flashbacks to when someone used an avenger to camp my last turreted limo in a fully loaded to constantly spawn trap me with the explosive guns a few times before I closed app. I've also had someone spawn trap me during the USS luxington business battle with a toreador since if you die there it respawns you on a jet ski they instantly lock onto and if I didn't leave there they would have kept doing that with infinite rockets, just more annoying shit to deal with than a simple small brained MK2 griefer imo

Deathbike miniguns, much like all fixed vehicle guns, are a pain to aim at anything. Maybe less terrible with aim assist active? If you get chased and shot a lot, the deathbike has that shield behind and the jump might help for evasion. Otherwise a sportsbike that turns more sharply will probably be a better choice.

My Favorite Bike is the Shitzu Hakucho. Cheap in the current meta but fast. When wheeling its as fast as a Hakucho Drag even. I might even dare say faster than a Mk2 Depressor (if he isnt on the ground). And most bikes in the game seem to have decent handling offroad the Hakucho included. One downside is it doesn't turn well.

That bike was also my favorite until I bought the Shinobi and happened to find out how quickly you could turn using both brakes. Nothing can catch you when doing so, and when doinga wheelie it goesover everything. No idea if the hakachu could turn as fast as I'm trying to make the shinobi my favorite bike but I doubt it can do it as well and I know it can wheelie over everything as well.

Yeah, they need to give you the option to change it manually at the clubhouse with a 24 real world hour cooldown or something. Mine's been the Sovereign for years (managed to change it to the Bati 801 RR once) and I don't even use that bike anymore. I've been wanting to change it to the BF400 for stunting purposes and I just keep falling off when I try to go around the map stunting.

If you wear a stuntman outfit, it reduces the fall damage from falling off bikes by 90 percent. Works with opressers too!

I'll wait till you can change your favorite bike another way to play again. I remember way back when I first found out about this feature it was too late. Had the oppressor mk 2 as my favorite (bought it and everything needed with real money to fight griefers so I can be left alone in peace.) In which case, worth noting that you're only getting one thing from having the mk 2 as your favorite. Hp regen. So. Yea. Glad you put this out. For me though, 6 days to change my favorite bike to wolfesbane or hakuchou drift? No thank you lolol

since the Depressor Mk2 is the best vehicle to grind most things, it has gotten the Favorite bonus for me. thank goodness I'm not a griefer, because it's a very good combo, it can be an annoying tool in the wrong hands

My favourite bike is the Shotaro, but I rarely ride bikes anyway when some other PVs can already provide hard protection from bullets. Riding bikes are just too risky, with the likely possibility of ejection & being 360° exposed being too much of downsides vs the buffs you get from the bonus. And I agree that the riding timer for a specific bike not being accumulative is stupid..or not able to manually set the favourite bike..

Hey there. To start, great work with this video, there's actually just few video on this shady subject, or as far i've saw. So just somes questions: do i need to register mc president when i farm time spend on a bike to turn it into favorite? Can i farm in a solo lobby? It is obligatory to hover on the ground (or water) with the mkll to turn it into favorite or can i just let it circle around high in the air?

In my somewhat basic testing a long, long time ago, I seemed to find that the time-to-ride, to change your favorite bike effectively doubled each time. Naturally, that means that it becomes harder and harder to do. I don't claim this is definitive, but I certainly did not find that it takes a fixed, X hours of ride time to change. At the very least it appears to be variable and not fixed. One interesting debate this video raises is, is it worth having a bike like the Oppressor MKII be your favorite because then you miss out on the damage bonus (because you can't use any other weapons). For me, as a solo-PVE-grinder, I would still take the health regen and damage resistance only, for using the MKII (or the MKI for that matter). It would seem using any other bike in this scenario would be kind of pointless, unless you just wanted to use some other bike as a personal challenge.

I'd rather have the Gargoyle or the Manchez Scout for a favorite. Admittedly I use the Mk2 far more often than any other motorcycle due to convenience of landing on small high-altitude vantage points and commuting, but I would _not_ call it my favorite bike by any measure. I want the oppressor to be my favorite bike for messing around. What I did to get it to my favorite bike was to sell the bike that it said was my favorite and ride my mk1. It was pretty instant for the change so there you go.

So like my favourite bike history was strange since I kept using different bikes per week cuz one week I have no weaponised vehicle week where I use the bati801 or the scout bike but then it keeps changing the next week when I get on my mk 1 extendedly for heist preps transportation and stuff. REALLY wished rockstar could let you choose ur favourite bike through like settings or something.

I had so much fun zooming around with the mk2 glitch when it came out that the distance I covered made it my "favorite" probably forever. So all my benefits are on that bike unfortunately. My actual favorite bole is the drag bike

There should be a time limit where you have to have ridden the bike a certain amount of time then it will just let you choose the favorite bike.

I literally made a second character to collect every conventional bike in the game, so no oppressors, and since that character will never own an oppressor I can ensure their favorite bike is something cool. I decided on making their main land vehicle the HSW Hakuchou Drag which is a very fun bike to have fav bike bonuses on.

And I was wondering why my Oppressor MK2 wasn't becoming my favorite bike even though I have already used it much more than my Hakuchou Drag. Turns out the ride time was always reset when I used the Hakuchou for the time trials. I'm not a griefer by the way, I just use the Oppressor for fast travel and convenience, and also grinding solo.

Rockstar should be improve health regeneration system in upcoming update. Where you don't need a snack to regenerate, and it will regenerate naturally. To maxed health in just 8 second, after you taken any certain amount of damage. The high level means, the fastest to regenerate health overall. And they should add heart beating sound when your health is 20% and it slowly. Stop beating when regenerating to max

the defense buff being prioritized over the damage buff is a common thing in games actually, but always interesting to find out Also, in general PVP & PVE, are the buffs more important than having the healing on something like an oppressor mk1 or mk2? speaking of which, can one get the mk2 oppressor to become the "favorite bike" because i've only ever succeeded in getting the oppressor mk1 in that role

@@GhillieMaster The only benefits on the oppressors is the health regain and damage reduction from bullets. The weapon damage from the missiles and MG does not stack with the favorite bike feature.

Another thing i noticed is that you dont fall off as easily when on fav bike i never test it fully but on both my characters the fav bike are different so i used the same bike to test with both and it seems like you get better resistance to falling off when you hit things but i could also just be trippin

I did some testing on my own now. You do not have to move on the bike for it to be able to become your favorite bike. I changed mine today to the BF400 and all I did was sitting on it not moving at all. So apparently only the time you are sitting on it counts. Maybe they quietly changed that from when it was tested in this video. Another thing is that it will only change if the bike is your personal vehicle. That's why unfortunately the Manchez Scout C cannot become your favorite bike and you don't get the bonuses either if the regular Manchez Scout is your favorite bike, tested it. What I wanted to test but didn't is what interrupts the timer of sitting on your bike. It is possible though that using the Scout C for LSD sell missions doesn't reset it but I wouldn't guarantee this now.

Well after putting some effort in and trying to change my bike I successfully achieved it . My findings are when you hop on to the train and leave it are . The bike travel distance increased very very slowly it only counted the very small movements the bike made as the train went over the bumps inch movements we are talking. In 48 hours non stop afk glitch and idle the miles went up in the stats by 14 miles lol that’s it . And after this time the bike was still not my favourite so I went for a cruise for 25 mins and went around the entire map on the road as far wide as possible to gain as much mileage per loop of the island as possible . I stopped checked the stats every few mins and after just under 25 mins I got it . Time on the Bike does not count it’s the miles you do on it that does . I have never sat on a certain bike without changing it for about an hour or two . But In those hours did many many miles . So yeh do the miles and the loop of the island top speed near miss challenge style and check every 5 mins or so .
