I've noticed the cutscene has changed on the Cayo Scope Out mission too. Before the update, you'd fly the Velum to the yellow marker, the screen would black out and cut to the Cayo landing. Now, after the update once you fly to the yellow marker, the plane vanishes, your character drops with a parachute equipped and then it fades to black before the landing cut scene. lol

I'm so glad someone brought up the delay when eating snacks, my best advice for it is just to spam either the snacks or armor, it's still kinda slow and buggy tho, and about the controller input thing, my controller has recently just had an issue where it periodically just shuts off for a second then turns back on, but that's probably to do with my batteries or something

Just had the controller input bug happen to me and today is 2/25/23. The Cayo Perico surveillance bug is still active and I literally can’t get past it. For as big as this game and company is, it’s a big let down to see bugs not getting fixed in a timely manner.

Here's another one, Car window reflections are messed up. They barely reflect now. Tinted windows look like a black hole, even if it's completely sunny (You can see this in the gameplay in this video). And without tint, it's difficult to see if there's a window at all. This is probably related to the ray-tracing stuff for fidelity mode. But even on performance, there's a big difference.

This happened to me once last night (Dec. 16) and I'm on PS4. I was in my Kosatka doing the prep missions for Cayo Perico and the controller sticks 🎮 froze right when my helicopter was leaving the submarine... I was still hovering over the submarine so all I could do was press the d-pad to start the landing sequence. After the cutscene my normal movement had returned and the game played normally the rest of my session.

Yep.. Happens to me at least once daily and the timing is random (today was crazy...Happened 5 times in the span of roughly 3 hours. I'm on Xbox Series X and again, completely random. It's happened while I've been in heists, sell missions and even just driving around...There's no trigger and has happened at random times. I have recorded footage of several times it's happened. I sent Rockstar Support the details as well. I also noticed that saving disables so anything you were doing at the time of the crash, you'll lose. Unlike the network error crash, which auto-saves (example - car upgrades), this crash DOES NOT save. I was upgrading a car at LSC when it happened and once I got back in game, nothing had saved. Also lost a number of car deliveries (from auto shop) cause it's crashed while delivering...When back in game, car is gone and nothing delivered. etc...etc...

Definitely noticed the snack/armor delay to the point where I just hold whatever button it is until the heal finally happens. This is the only way I've found that speeds it up. Also can confirm the controller issue on PS4, the controller started vibrating nonstop and only the PS button functioned. Was able to shut off the controller and connect another to resolve it.

I'm on series s and I get the controller bug CONSTANTLY if you sit and wait for a minute after the controller messes up you get a notification on the bottom left saying that you were disconnected from rockstar services. I'm not sure what this means for the bug, but even if it's simply lagging out, it shouldn't happen so often to so many people. We pray to almighty rockstar that this gets patched.

i’m on Xbox Series S and i was doing the “Crystal Maze” mission in story mode i was playing like normal and all of a sudden my game loses input and i can’t do anything besides access the home screen button, this has happened before when i was doing “Casing The Jewel Store” mission and i had to completely restart my game. This for a fact only happens on new gen console GTA because i’ve not seen this type of bug in the Old Generation Consoles i hope Rockstar fixes this bug (as of 2023 Rockstar has yet to fix this bug and it is still happening.)

I tried switching batteries, switching controllers, nothing worked but the Xbox home button. So I restarted my game and it worked. So I'm glad I wasn't the only one that experienced this issue.

There's a glitch where you are unable to return your acid lab when you start a mission even if its completely unrelated to the lab. It doesn't even appear on the map. Sometimes after the mission it may reappear and you can return it or it doesn't and you have to destroy it in some way or find a new session to spawn another service vehicle.

Yea, on PS 4 BB hacks still don't work, and 10 cargo boxes just randomly appear near Someone's dealership. And this weird delay with snacks actually wastes a lot of snacks. I ate 30 P's n Q's, but got healed like 7 times. It also pops up the phone sometimes. Also, about Acid supplies stealing mission with Humane Labs van: you can get a free black hazmat suit if you find it near the van. You also can avoid gas damage by getting in on the vehicle (Depresso MK2 for example).

I experienced that unresponsive bug.. it was as if my controller wasn't connected at all, but it was.. I was on a Series S.. Going to the Xbox home screen without closing the game, and then pulling the game back up, fixed it.. Maybe it wasn't the same issue, but I remember messing around in the Acid lab and thinking my controller died again, but it didn't.. and I was worried my controller was broken or something.. *I didn't have to restart the game or anything, just exit and go to home screen for a few seconds, and when I brought the game back up it was fine..

I definitely took notice on why eating snacks got a little slow all of a sudden and the nightclub part is after kicking a guy out from the cargo area suddenly a VIP passes out and had to drive him to a hospital, another problem is that Dax freemode missions can be done in no time but then you have to wait like 30 minutes in order to do another one a little mentioned mind you.

Well glad to know that nothing is wrong with my controller. Tried 4 different controllers but it still kept happening. Snacks n armor lag sucks because it always happens while in the middle of pvp or middle of a mission. Business battles don't work because you can't hack door to get in. I've also noticed that the music in the nightclub is bugged unless they made your vip area soundproof? Idk 🤷‍♂️

I had a similar glitch with the controller situation on ps5. However, it wasn't random. It happened when my controller died while plugged in with a bad wire to charge it. My controller was on with flashing lights and everything, but I couldn't even go to the home menu. This was fixed for me by letting my controller die completely and then plugging it back in and letting it gain some charge. Could be an error processing I puts when dealing with low charge or when batteries shift around in the pack, but idk.

@DK Diego 505 it's still a battery pack, my point was maybe the low power from moving batteries effected the games ability to register the inputs and locking it out somehow. My car battery was loose once and it stopped my windshield wipers from working lol. However, if the problem occurs with wired controllers as well, then it might just be xbox specific and mine was just a niche glitch.

Moving batteries can simulate low charge since they rely on contact surfaces to properly transfer power. This isn't necessarily the cause but a more specific response as to what I mean by 'low power'.

Snacks and armor have been harder to use during missions. Just saying I like ro run and gun the union depository (auto shop contract) for fun. And I usually take armor and snacks just encase. Also I have a whole clip of a business battle duffle bag being spawned in under one of Rockstars immovable objects and couldn't even pick it up

The input glitch is still a thing as of May 17th 2023 and it also happens during the story mode. The only thing I can think of that might cause this is a random coded input is activating another set of duct tape code which causes the engine to read the code incorrectly OR it doesn't know how to correct the mistake so it breaks. I haven't seen or experienced this on ps5 but it seems it only happens on the expanded and enhanced versions of gta but on xbox. (Another reason could be a confliction between xbox and the Rage engine or even the servers themselves) Very disappointing that I paid 40 dollars to not play the game genuinely feel like this should be something a consumer should be able to take to court not because of the bug existing but because we aren't getting any updates not even confirmation that they know it exists this is how you lose players LACK OF COMMUNICATION

A guy helped me to solve it and it worked for me: try to disconnect your keyboard and mouse from xbox before launching the game. And don't connect it until you're playing gta. Hope it can help you

The no input bug has been a thing for a while. I play on Series S, usually having my controller wired, and the only way to fix it was to restart, or unplug the controller. Assuming it's going to happen a lot more often now.

I have experienced the frozen no input glitch a few times. I'm on Xbox Series S. I was in the middle of a pvp fight for one, I was flying my sparrow during a Cayo Prep mission for another time, and another time I was just afk and came back to not being able to move.

Best advice you can get about this glitch until it’s fixed is ALWAYS restart your game for a fresh go before you make any big sales or missions like heists I’ve noticed it happens after about 2 -3 hours of playing

5:34 YUP..I experienced that BB issue YESTERDAY after the background patch. I was first one to get to the hack box & it was like it wasn’t there.(PS5) TBH my game hasn’t crashed this much after any other DLC. I Finally upgraded to the E&E version after playing the xbone version and the controller not working randomly has happened multiple times already. I never had this issue on the last gen version of the game so this must be an E&E exclusive bug.

IDK why but some for some reason my gut felling is (and I might be wrong) it might be a framerate issue. I'm going play on fidelity mode to see if it happens there. if not then IDK Update 1: Still happens in fidelity mode so IDK what causes it. It did happen alot later probably do to the random nature of it. Only way to get Rockstar to fix this is if everyone spreads the word and bitches to Cockstar about it. Update 2: It can happen in SINGLE PLAYER!!! absolutely unexfuckingceptionable Cockstar!!! Just lost a decent amount of progress. 💢😡

2:35 im on the series x and i have had this bug so many times by now. The worst time it happened was when i was doing the new acid lab missions and on the last one i was like 40 minutes in i was almost finished and i had to restart happens randomly from only 10 minutes into a new game to 2 hrs

I'm on PS5 and noticed that you have to push in the analogs extra hard to drop proximity mines or apply armor from the weapon wheel. Also, NPCs on crop duster mission do a ridiculous amount of damage, pretty ridiculous.
