​@@jaym1244 In a straight line the Karuma is ever so slightly faster. And I mean slightly as in hardly noticeable (like 1/10th of a second faster across the span of an entire runway). However, the Nightshark has superior handling. Which means, in the city, I can run Karuma's and Insurgents down easily because the Nightshark can maintain it's speed through turns a lot easier. For heists, the Karuma is probably the better choice against NPC's. But, in freeroam against players, I'd choose the Nightshark every time.

Another thing to note about the Nightshark's window plating: The side windows don't protect you. Bullets travel through the driver & passenger side window plates like they don't exist. Plus, without access to your driveby weapons and throwables, you're a moderately-armored sitting duck with nothing but front-facing machine guns that barely do anything.

One other useful tip I saw in another awesome user's anti-Oppressor vids that I swear by: Go into First Person View to increase how high of an angle you can toss the sticky bombs at, and change the first-person view mode to front-hood instead of driver's seat :)

I use the Phantom Custom. It used to be the most overpowered armored vehicle in the game until a patch went through that dropped the armor rating by 50%. The damn thing used to be able to take 74 homing launcher rounds before being blown up. Presently, I believe its 34. 😑 The phantom custom itself has no icon either when dropping the trailer. Its as fast as a stock sports car when fully upgraded. Painting it classic black also baits randoms to attack as it is harder to distinguish from a regular phantom. It helps to not tint windows too. It comes with bulletproof windows and sticky bombs can still be used within the truck. The truck also has the highest ramming power rating in the game outside of the train. So its pretty fun crashing into trollers. Stay away from tanks, 3 rounds and your done. They cannot be pushed either.

I never understood why they didn't give the Nightshark proximity mines. It's the best vehicle to fit them in: it has speed to make players chase after you (unlike the APC and the Half-Track) AND enough armor to take explosions in case it runs over some of them by accident (unlike the Dune FAV and the Weaponized Tampa). Maybe R* wanted to leave it as a "defensive" vehicle, but it feels like bullshit that the Insurgent can have proximity mines when it already has the big ass gun to deal with pursuers while the Nightshark has nothing we can use to handle them, even though it's pretty much MADE to outrun people and came in the same update as the vehicle mines.

This has been my favorite vehicle to drive online. I love joining online sessions and doing freemode work like vip work just so griefers wont see other players crates/supplies. I ride around in my nightshark doing vip work untill i get griefed. I've been griefed everysingle time by a mk2 and they never get the chance to kill me . you can also shoot flares out the window to counter the rocket coming at you that pisses them off even more.

I know you're a badass in the fighting aspect of GTA 5, but one thing I would see as a weakness with this strategy is that this would be fine if you are fighting 1 v 1, but more often than not, fights involving Oppressors break out in large groups of 3 or more players, and if you're driving around in a Nightshark with regular windows you will be picked off by ground fighting players while you're trying to kill off the Oppressor. I don't know what strategy would be effective aside from driving off before you are an easy kill in a Nightshark after that. I still find it very difficult to kill people on their Oppressor MK2 out in the open, what I typically do is go to one of my favorite fighting cubby holes where they cannot rocket me and then I force them to either make a mistake, run out of rockets or jump off their Oppressor. That has worked out very well for me thus far and it gives me some control over multiple players joining the fight and also trying to have a go at me.

The mini map icon as well as it can fit through smaller spaces. Sometimes you need to take advantage of tunnels, bridges and anywhere a oppressor is dumb enough to follow. The OG escape route for the casino heist. It will fight through those tunnels as well.

Find the GTA5.exe and right click, then click on suspend and confirm. Wait 10 seconds, right click on GTA5.exe again and click on continue. All players will have left the server now. Congratulations you have your own private server!

Those are F1/open wheel car wheels if I'm not wrong. I think there's a glitch to put those wheels on any vehicles, look it up.

I’m happy that you took the window plating off... a lot of people don’t know this but the nightshark is the only armored vehicle that the arm out plating doesn’t even work. U can shoot threw the nightshark plating in the window... so it’s pointless in the first place.

lmao an oppresor griefer once shot me like 30 times in a nightshark and he reported me and started being really toxic to me saying I was hacking and stuff. The nightshark is amazing, can't even ride around unless your car is armoured these days 😂

Also, having a normal map icon is one of the secret bonuses to the vigilante, on top of being able to use it on any heist and mission. Wonderful little trait

I'd say if you want to use your Insurgent Pickup you can actually get out the driver seat at any time and use the gunner. You are still really protected

This thing can literally ram through a police roadblock, and it's miniguns are underrated, tbh the best car in GTA Online, and I have the MK2 also so I know how powerful the Nightshark is, planning on putting more armor on it, worth the $1.2M

CPTBLUEJAYS I would agree with that any other time, but the Nightshark is good for freemode, Karuma is really only good in heists or contact jobs

If you do it solo wise,then you should use the night shark but if you play with your friends often then I think the insurgent pick up custom would be better since you could have a friend use the mini gun on top of it while fighting a mk2

I tried your strategy, some mk2 griefers who realized I was in a shark went ghost and shot me with a flak cannon and destroyed the nightshark instantly with 1 shot
