i think you may be overlooking a couple of things, while it is true there isn't any objectives for the car underwater, the water is the cars safety zone. you can break police lock underwater, and if your being chased by griefers, you can run off of a peer and not deal with them. furthermore, how many insurance claims have you paid for while falling into a river?

Those are some good points. I can second the escaping with this vehicle, because the other amphibious vehicles, the APC, Bazer Aqua, and Technical Aqua all sit on the water and you're almost literally a sitting duck at that point.

The underwater in this game is really under appreciated. Sometimes I dive in with it after killing griefers. The reefs are a lot more enjoyable while 3 are hovering over you with a MK2 waiting to kill you. Then hop back on land and kill them again. It directly kills the most OP vehicle in the game and it’s upgraded version too. It’s probably my most used vehicle

@N A I do and these research projects are actually meaningful. This thing holds dual miniguns,missiles,proximity mines,and rear mortars. The miniguns carve up any armored vehicle,destroying them in 2.5 seconds. Missiles are not lock-on type but they're still effective,proximity mines are effective too,the rear mortars are effective as well. It makes headhunter almost as easy as Buzzard. The only problem is you can get blown up with one explosive but still,it's a solid vehicle.

I’ve found it very useful because it’s missiles are extremely accurate with a sensitive lock on. It counters MK2s like they’re nothing which is the griefer’s vehicle of choice. It’s underwater mode is useful for missions where you can’t call the police off with Lester, you can just go deep in the water and then lose them easily.

This vehicle right here is one of the biggest counters to Opressor mk2 griefers. The fact you can tank up a storm and have ridiculously accurate missiles will save you countless times. Also,if things get too hot to handle just go underwater and lure the griefer to your yacht,activate the air defenses of your yacht and no griefer will be able to mess with you.

you wont belive what happened once with me (pls read) Once griefer arrived and blown me up, i did same when he arrived again, he was crying that i killed him for no reason, i said no- "you started, i was doing self-defense", he was killing me + had friend telling bad stuff on chat. i equipped scuba gear (usefull, you should buy it even if you are poor, grind Martin Madrazo III and IV), stole plane and flew to ocean, he came with opressor, EXITED IT, it sink, and he swam to beach himself ( i was faster cuz scuba gear give speed too, so he went to island i stayed in water exploring broken ship with SAFETY FIRST on it :) ) he came with stormerg, but didnt catched me, i entered his Stormberg [he noticed 2 minutes later] he kicked me out of it, i swam to land, he was unable to cuz "island/see border" was too high for his car to exit water, he went passive after i tried to shoot him, then calling me pussy, i went to my apartament {he waiting with tank under door step, i drank to death and respawned in hospital, he rage-quitted. i died like 3 up to 5 times ion land, but 0 in water, even tho he had stormberg (missles was too slow to catch me)

(I've only just found this video, so a rather late comment here!) I agree with everything you said. It's not a vehicle that's going to earn it's cost back and I think it's a little over priced, especially as the underwater feature is really just a gimmick. However, I was recently given a couple of Shark cards in this year's birthday cards and blew the GTA$ on the Stromberg. As a present that effectively cost me nothing, I love it. Decent speed, great acceleration and handling and excellent (surface) weapons. I use it a lot just to get around when other players are shooting helicopters on sight. Buyers should ignore the underwater features when deciding if they want this somewhat luxury item.

This thing absolutely destroys broomsticks. Most Oppressor MKII users actually have to lose altitude to hit the Stromberg, like with most cars. If they get in front of you, the Stromberg can actually lock on to air targets at a certain altitude or distance. Because it has armor and the Oppressor MKII doesn't, it has a 95% chance to survive any frontal attacks, and a 100% chance to destroy the absolute shit out of a broomstick with a single well-placed rocket. Oh, and if the slimeballs try to outrun the missiles, don't worry. Stromberg missiles can catch up to them very, very easily.

Bought the Stromberg today as it's gone ridiculously cheap and I've just unlocked the trade price. As my friends own Deluxos and practically every aircraft in the game, I thought I'd try this. A very good decision as I'm particularly skilled at accidentally crashing my cars into water lol

You know that hanger mission where you gotta kill a salvage crew then get the item underwater? Have a friend in a cargobob carrying you in the stromberg to kill crew, have ur friend drop you in water to get item, then resurface so friend can pick you back up and deliver supplies to hanger!
