to be real : the game companies don't fix anything even if they wrote the whole source code of the game again because "Grove Street Legacy" handled a source code of a 3 old GTA games that originally wrote by Rockstar Games Itself so even if "Grove Street Legacy" Rewrite the whole source code of the game again after basing it into the Unreal Engine 4 this game will be worse even more than before.

If the studio is super small (which I imagine it is), I can only think stuff like this is probably invaluable to them. Because I’m guessing many things that are ‘easy’ fixes just weren’t known, like that windmill animation, so compiling multiple things puts it in one place for them if they do go back and keep working on tidying things up

I believe this recent update has been a massive improvement, especially with San Andreas. Bringing back the fog etc improves the immersion. In the original definitive edition, the draw distance ruined the game in a way and made the map look tiny. I dont mind how Claude looks the same age in san andrea as he does in 3 bcos hes a mysterious terminator-like character anyway so its like a nod towards that 😂

Playing the latest patch of DE on PS4, I've come across lots of issues with the Kickstart challenge in LV. Obstacles are still broken and if you pause the game whilst inside the stadium your location on the map is miles away from where you actually are. The steering and handling of some vehicles has worsened too since the latest patch

Issues that I have came across is light poles still fall though the ground. Police scanner does not say “suspect last seen on foot”. Objects like rocks and garbage still floating. Textures like the tunnel near Bayside is still missing the ceiling. Also if you cross the Gant Bridge into Bayside the twined lamposts on the bridge will disappear as well. After taking over a territory the cars will sometimes look like they are driving in reverse but will change to the proper direction. Not sure if that happened in the original version or not. Also they kinda fixed the sound of the Taxi, Police Car when you fast it still has the sound of the tank/Linerunner engine the it should sound like the correct engine from the Taxi or Police Car. Still has lots of bugs to fix.

I know that GTA San Andreas takes place before GTA 3, but I honestly think they should keep the 3D model of Claude from GTA San Andreas the way it is now. I didn't even know that it was supposed to be Claude from GTA 3 the first time I played because of that, not to mention that his young model before and in the original looks horrible.
