Watching tv in gta4 was an awesome feature, seeing as we're playing as Lucia and Jason where theyre sticking up stores n such id doubt theyd have time to squeeze in sum tv lol. Now that people can watch whatever on their phones you'd never have to be in the front of a tv in doing so, that im willing to bet will be the next feature on gta6 not just using the phone to access the ingame web but to also access ingame videos and the gta equivalent of tik tok.

My guess is that the Videos of him in the original show was not a low quality mp4 file that they put on a tv texture, but a fully HD rendered cutscene that they compressed into an MP4. So the original HD renders propably were in the files.

I don't really support AI but I feel like if AI was a thing in 2013 in the GTA universe or whatever this absolutely would've been a thing they would've actually done. Like, whichever production company makes The Underbelly of Paradise would not hesitate at all to immediately throw an illicitly-generated AI voice of Steve up there within like 48 hours of his death to ensure they can keep making money off him post-mortem.

Steve's animations and camera were made the same way that the ingame cutscenes were made, and since rockstar didn't bother to remove those files they can be easily played ingame with a mod menu.

Cutscenes have files with animations, camera and lighting stuff in them that are playable with Menyoo. Since Steve's shots work exactly like Cutscenes and Rockstar left the files for them ingame, they could just be screenrecorded and used as-is.

Almost, the ingame show is a prerendered video that exists as a .bik file in the game files. The only stuff that i didn't have to manually recreate by hand was steve haines' animations and camera, everything else had to be done manually with mods.
