This video is just a warning of what can go wrong when using the cheapest crew on a heist, and it was made through a replay of the mission instead of a normal save reload.
Note that even being possible to get the money back from the fallen crew member the final take is less than using the optimal crew (Karim Denz, Packie Mcreary and Rickie Lukens)

No it isn't best to pick the bad gunman. First, he'll fail at controlling the crowd during the loud approach forcing you to take some time to contain it. Second, he'll drop 500k in jewelry during the smart approach while collecting. Third, his death will force you to pay a casualty expense which is their cut plus 50% of whatever they're paid for. In Norm's case he asks for 7% and his death makes it 10.5%.

actually, i been choosing the lifeinvader guy, cheapest driver, since really it doesn't matter about using either one. Micheal can go through the store in less than 60 secs. and with Franklin's driving skill he always evade the cops. the gunman i choose Packie McReary because if you choose the cheap gunman he always is killed or falls off the bike.

Im theory, the best crew for this mission would be: Cheapest hacker: you can still empty the store in the time he gives. Cheapest driver: you can do the getaway just fine on the speedbikes. Good gunman: the critical part. Packie McReary is the best choice here. The cheap one will die on the bikes and fail on the store manager, but a good one will survive no problem.

Switch Daryl Johns as Gunman 2 and Hugh Weish as Gunman 1, as Bad Gunman 2 requires help from the Protagonists and will be a little assistance (this can only happen if he doesn't have previous experience from The Bureau Raid)

The "ideal" crew choice (one that maximises profit and levels up the crew etc) is to use the bad driver, bad hacker but a good gunman, since the gunman can possibly die/drop money if he's bad. So... it would be Karim (Worst driver, chooses the wrong bikes and doesn't give directions, but it's manageable), Packie (Good gunman, won't drop money or die in the heist regardless) and Rickie (60 seconds is still more than enough to get all the money). honestly ricky is the best hacker for this mission because he's the cheapest hacker and the window timing he provides is exactly 50 seconds, the maximum you need to get the gold medal for this heist. and you'll increase his level/expertise for future heist so if you keep using him, you'll get a paige level hacker that only needs 4% cut.

Even though it's titled "wrong" crew members the only one that was wrong was the gunman, its cheaper to chose a good gunman, because he won't die so they won't be a casualtie cost, chosing a "bad" hacker is good because it gives you exactly 50 sec which you need for the quick grab requirement,and a bad driver only affects the type of bike you get

If you want to get the max out of the Jewel store job then you should choose Karim Denz, Packie McReary and Rickie Lukens, this might sound strange since Packie is more expensive than Norm but Norm will drop a lot of jewels and it’s more profitable to pick packie because he will not drop anything

Not really. The crew member your talking about is Norm Richards who is a bad gunman. in the smart approach he collects and will drop over 400k in the store and in the loud approach he'll handle the hostages poorly forcing you to take time to intimidate a hostage before they raise the alarm. During the escape he'll fail to escape by crashing his bike leaving you with a casualty expense (regular cut along with 50% extra making norm's cut 10.5%). I'd like to add that the driver collects the jewelry in the loud approach and if you take Karim the bad driver he'll drop 400k in the store while Eddie the good driver will collect them all but has a higher cut.

Los Illuminados actually, the expenses of the casualty cost you extra. it is their cut plus 50%. so 7% is actually 10.5% for the shitty gunman. I go with a medium gunman, medium driver and Ricky. that way, noone dies (meaning no increase in money loss) and no money is lost due to shitty handling of the jewels (the shittiest options drop some of the score). Ricky does buy you enough time to get everything, and his skills are boosted to the point of being your second best option I think.

The worst way to do it is with low cut hacker and driver and high cut hacker on the Loud option. On the loud option, the driver will also grab the jewellery, and if he is mediocre, he will drop part of the take. As seen in the video, the gunman will crash, and more money will be lost than it would cost to get a good gunman. As for the hacker, Rickie gives you the exact same amount of time as is given to complete one of the challenges, so he is a better choice as his skills improve.

I did it gold in the first attempt. Even though I knew the cheap gunman was going to crash so I stayed behind him and collected the bag with the jewelery. The bike choice makes a little difference (cops are still going to find you at the end of the tunnels). And as many other said Paige is going to give you 30 seconds more for the alarm trigger so there is no need to spend more than the triple than Ricky’s cut. If you can be fast choose Ricky, also there is the objective to steal from all the showcases in 50 seconds.

Choosing norm is the best choice. He crashes his bike b4 entering the tunnels meaning you can pick up his part of the score. You don't lose any money at all. Meaning you don't have to pay any gunman meaning u keep the 7% you promised him

This is the perfect crew. Low cuts all around. Sport bikes don't make much of a difference. Gunman crashes and it gives you the chance to snag his bag of money, cutting him out completely. Hacker gives just enough time to grab all the jewelry. Other options just give you extra time you don't really need. 10/10 best choice

Just because the gunman dies he isn't "cut out completely." You still have to pay his casualty expense which is his cut plus another half. So Norm's cut goes from 7% to 10.5% He's also the worse gunman all around. In the smart option he'll miss 400k which cannot be picked up and in the loud option you'll be forced to take precious time to contain a crowd because he can't. Packie is better overall.
