Here, I'll explain the glitch. Holding ONMISSION blocks the deferred task that usually reinitializes the game-progress variables shortly after each of two major storyline missions.

Yeah it looks like the Vice City developers got the chance to finish their masterpiece by putting back in all the stuff they had to cut from VC for one reason or another. The only regret is that we don't have the Tommy Vercetti missions ported to the VCS engine.

ppsspp isn't trash, it's one of the best emulators ever produced. great speed and hardware compatibility, devs are also very cool when it comes to support for old OSes as well, XP was supported until 2019 i think? some of the other emulators can very well learn from it, especially dolphin, which keeps raising the GPU API requirements instead of choosing to maintain multiple renderers.
