In my opinion, the final confrontation with Lance in this version feels far more impactful than in the original. Instead of going down in seconds, he puts up a real fight, making the battle between him and Tommy feel more intense. With Lance able to take more damage, you’re forced to take cover and put in more effort to break through his armor, adding weight to the fight and making both the dialogue and his death feel more meaningful. It’s a perfect example of how a simple gameplay upgrade can elevate an already fantastic game, proving once again that better graphics don’t always make for a better remaster. Using GTA IV’s game engine was the perfect choice, and honestly, it’s embarrassing that a team of four managed to outshine an entire group of so-called professionals at Rockstar.

I love how most shootouts in here are much more difficult. Enemies go down easy but so do you so u gotta utilize cover as much as possible

I had been playing gta games from childhood (probably cz i am 18+ from childhood lol) but after i heard that they tried to ban the modders i just got irritated. I get it that its their policy to not put one game to another but for me this doesn't even make sense to me and the worst part is that they didn't even tried to contact the modders and just straight up ban them. My perspective for rockstar has changed after seeing what they did. Kudos to the modders for converting the cutscenes and stuff to rage engine. And btw shamne on u rockstar

@fixcpu honestly they were not like this. Back in the day they praised modders for creativity and stuffs. Even I grew up with a modded version of vice city but after the success of GTA online they changed their mind. They are gonna regret their discission

Well, I have this problem a lot and sometimes zooming will crash the game. Try killing with a different assault rifle.
