This the most underrated video on this topic. Got the M16 in just under 2hrs maybe. Just grab a joint or a drink or w.e you prefer and jump lobbies. Way faster than waiting 20mins per lobby then flying around to every single spot. Tips: Blue dot should show up as soon as you move character or camera, if not, jump lobbies There is an LD package there, that I believe helps spawn the event so don’t pick it up if you haven’t. I picked it up after my 3rd piece then the last two pieces took forever so I say leave it till after. If you get killed you can respawn and still get the piece. Sometimes you get put in the same lobbies back to back, if that happens just wait a bit for a fresh cycle then keep jumping lobbies Only once, I got the event but there was no part. Just go back to your spot and keep jumping lobbies

When you find a part if u have a friend in the lobby all you have to do is set your location to last location and when u find a part of your friend is in the same lobby just hit join friend and you’ll spawn back in the same lobby and the crime scene should still be there

Got my first piece after about 5 jumps using this method. 👍 After zero pieces flying around for hours the last few days. Edit: 2.5 hours later I have all 5 components. I did not have success getting the crime scenes to spawn all in the same place or anywhere outside the city. I got the spawns after 4-6 reboots near the del perro pier (1), docks (1), near Tequi-la-la (1) and by the LS river (2). Good luck! Number 5 took the longest and I even quit out and loaded back in and took a 2nd try near tequi-la-la and the LS river. Shot out to the GTA community. Several folks were picking up components after me and were cool AF waiting their turn and not shooting each other.

Tried hopping in the same spot for 2 hours and didn’t get a single part, drove further down the road until I got to the Up-N-Atom burger joint, found a new session, and found 3 within 30 minutes. If it’s not working just try to switch sessions a little further away than you think you should!!!

I do not know whether you are the original founder of this method but I want to sincerely thank you for sharing this method with other GTA Online fans. That is how professionals do it! You deserve to receive all those positive comments because your video was probably the most underrated video of the previous week. At least it is a verified method, not like the one shown on GTA Series Videos - there is no point in wasting your time flying around Los Santos or waiting 30 minutes for those items to spawn. One is able to unlock the weapon for both of GTA Online characters in like 4 or 3 hours. The items were spawning so quickly I did not have to worry about the time spent to get them. It is a wonderful method to get those random events to spawn. Worth mentioning: it probably works also for other events, not only for the M16 event. Best of luck in GTA Online for you, Dear Ghost. This is a legit method but can sometimes take just as long as flying around collecting the pieces. Took me just over 2 hours to get 3 pieces. I’m working on my 4th piece right now. Once I get my 4th piece then I don’t mind flying around looking for the 5th. Cool and legit method tho! Good video!

So definitely server hop but if you can’t find it at this location fly over to Vespucci and/or under the overpass across from construction. If they don’t spawn there then hop servers and try those locations again. I got all 5 parts within 30 min

I think random events screw it up. I had a crime scene spawn after about 4 jumps but a Beast event had just started so the rifle part didn't spawn. Killed the cops, got rid of my wanted level, blue dot still showing, no part.

Here I was struggling to find my last part..I went to the exact location and did exactly what you did in the video it took me about 20x but I noticed that it was about 4-5 jumps after the exotic expo blue dot popped up is when I got the part so if you see the blue dot your almost there!! Waiting around at ground is definitely faster than flying around from place to place. I only have 1 piece now and I got that from waiting by the airfield northeast of Alamo Sea for a few minutes. I’ve flown around all the spots and haven’t found ONE lol. So I might double down on just jumping sessions and waiting around Thanks for the method brother

The only time one spawned was when I crashed my hydra at the Alamo Sea near the McKenzie airfield and I just went afk after going to the shore for a few minutes while I checked my phone irl and it just spawned randomly.
