Gtechniq C2 V3 Liquid Crystal First Wash

Well, as mentioned in the video, I was a little disappointed with the results. I spoke with a friend who owns a shop, it turns out that it may be because my product was about 2 years old. This is the first time using the product. The trigger sprayer was threaded correctly and tight.
I reapplied the product in a different way and will have to wait for the next available wash to report back. I am not saying this is a bad product. I am saying that it's possible the results shown in this video could have been something on my end. Trial and error right ?

I use C2V3 on my charger coated with Crystal serum Ultra and topped with Exo v3 and I noticed this issue after topping the C2V3 and specifically after using CG honey dew. I switched my pre wash to strictly citrus wash from Gtechniq and haven’t had that problem since.

Interesting. The Honeydew rinsed okay but not after the reset. I have replaced the Griot's foaming surface wash and CG HD with Adams. Most of the vehicles I maintain are coated, so I use RESET. I'm hopeful the 2nd application does the trick... Thank you for checking out the video and taking the time to comment with your experience. I will give the Citrus wash a look.

I've never used C2v3 so I can't really say anything specific about that product but obviously it should last more than a month, particularly with a garaged vehicle. The initial rinse in the dirty car the water behavior looked good so only thing I can think of is that there had to be some kind of leftover soap residue from the Honeydew or Reset. I'm wondering if you were to dry the panel with a towel and do another rinse if the water beading would have came back. I've seen that before with some products. Basically using the towel removes whatever residue may be on the surface and all is good again.

@@GavDetails Right on. It's just a thought, certainly possible that there was a failure for some reason, but after one month I'd be shocked.

@@bfielder9097 I applied it the same way to a vehicle coated with CSL and it did not negatively affect the surface. It's too late now because I applied a second layer to the Lexus. I'm hoping to wash it this weekend even though it snowed today. Appreciate the help !

there might still be some protection but thats very flat

I hope the second application helps. The uniform flatness of the panels was a real bummer.
