GTECHNIQ C2V3 Update * 2nd Application *

If you did not see the first C2V3 video, be sure to check it out. The IS250 is back and to get straight to the point, the "appearance" of the protection is better. Water beading and sheeting is present on all panels. My experience has led me to the following key points: Use the product when purchased, don't let it sit around for 12+ months. I do not suggest a MF applicator for the initial application. Spray the product on the panel and work in with a MF towel. Lastly, Apply a 2nd layer cut 1:1 with water. Any questions ? I've been extremely impressed with Gtechniq product. It can be layered. The shine, slickness and ease of use is exceptional. I can't imagine why you going back over it with bead maker.

This 2nd aplication looks like it did it's work. It sheets the water quickly, given how much water you're pushing on the surface. It would seem a lot of these spray sealants are a quick solution to short term protection. Of the popular spray sealants, I don't see any of them lasting as long as thye say they do, even the newer graphene products.

Hey George, thanks for checking out the video. I agree with you on the durability. The spray sealants that are marketed as a maintenance product for a full coating should be used as such. The Lexus is garage kept and is not driven many miles per week. That is what went into my decision to use the C2V3. Hopefully more informative videos to follow.

@@GavDetails Will's Restorations here, paint preparation is everything with these products and I love GTECHNIQ, we use it in our restoration shop all the time. If you're using it as a standalone sealant then you should wash the car very well then clay bar your car then wash again and then apply the liquid Crystal c2v3 to the entire car, a panel at a time, and after you are done wait 30 minutes and apply a second coat and you will see incredible results for up to 6 months guaranteed. This product should always be layered with two coats and keep your car from these very damaging car washes.

@@willsrestorations Hey Will, thank you for the comment. The vehicle was washed, clayed and polished prior to the first application. Eraser was used before the C2V3. With that said a combination of my error in application and the fact that the product was at least 18 months old did not help.

What blower are you using? It looks like an Ego but the short attachment nozzle is nowhere to be found on their website. I have an Ego but it only has the regular long nozzle.

It is an Ego, I do not put the long attachment on it. I found that the performance is the same. No need to spend extra money.

What pressure washer are you using?

Ryobi 1600 psi, 1.2 GPM. The gun, wand and hose are all from Obsessed Garage. I have other videos showing the set up 👍
