GTECHNIQ CRYSTAL SERUM LIGHT & EXO V4 Application

In this video I show you how I coated my E92 M3 with Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light and Exo V4. I did 1 coat of Crystal Serum, and 2 coats of Exo V4 top coating.

EXOv4 direct on after removing the Crystal serum light or wipedown with IPA between? Does is make stains on rubber/plastic or apply on everything except windows?

Trying to decide between Cquartz UK 3.0 and crystal serum light. I’ve used 3.0 and enjoyed it, what do you like better about Crystal Serum?

I would definitely recommend Crystal Serum, although Ive heard the Cquartz 3.0 is very good to work with. I think Cquartz may be more durable, but both products are very good!

You tell in this film 30 ml (if I understand correctly, English is not my first languages) was enough for your car and maybe probably enough for two cars. Could you tell me in your opinion of 30ml serum and EXO bottle will be enough for Subaru Forester 2006 (it looks like a Station Wagon/kombi not like a SUV) ?

The exo v4 is just a top coat and it is just layer-able. Gteqnic instructions are to layer the v4 2 coats. The purpose is unknown to me unless maybe it goes on thinner, and 2 layers make it thicker.

can you install EXO on top of CSL immediately after installing the CSL?

Absolutely not, you must wait a minimum of 3 hours depending on humidity and temperature and all the way up to 24 hours or should I say before 24 hours. And please don't do it like this guy did cuz that was horrible you can never do a two panels at a time you are playing with fire if you do that. You can do a half a hood at a time or a full trunk lid and if the doors are small you can do a full door or a full fender one at a time and remember to keep the product sealed closed after you distributed to the applicator. And this guy use the same type of rags to level and polish which is absolutely wrong if you go to the rag company website you'll see which towels are used for which. Also never circular motion this product with any rag or polishing cloth like this guy did, always straight horizontally and then vertically flipping the microfiber cloth and then a second cloth doing the same thing. Unfortunately there are way too many defective videos on KZbin. I will be doing a video in the coming month showing you exactly how GTECHNIQ want you to apply it, as I am certified with the company.

@@stealthhtm23 it takes a lot of time to learn how different temperatures and humidity will affect the ceramics when you're applying but once you understand it and start seeing how it shrinks on the car you will become very good at it and there is a lot of money to be made. My ceramic coating start at 1500 and go up woods of $3,200 but the results are amazing, unfortunately there are too many defective videos on KZbin that people follow and think this is the way it should be done when in fact it's the worst way to do it. This is why you do smaller sections at a time because the CSL dries fairly quickly during humidity is less than 50% and temperature is 75° and below so if you're doing one or two panels that are large you can wind up getting in big trouble, it's always best to just take your time and enjoy what you're doing it will always come out better that way. And remember you should always use a leveling cloth when you first start leveling the ceramic and fold the towel into four sections and go left to right overlapping panels then flip the towel and do the same thing up and down and then take a separate microfiber cloth used for polishing ceramic and go over that section twice and you will be amazed at the results when you have leveled and polished the panel.

@@stealthhtm23 I'm glad to hear that you had some basic knowledge and common Sense and your vehicle turned out well. There is a lot of satisfaction in doing this type of detailing yourself. I would also suggest using GTECHNIQ liquid Crystal C2 V3 as a maintainer once a month, the results are amazing. But wait at least 30 days before using the liquid Crystal c2v3.

Very good but next time take all the BMW logos and numbers off at the front and rear boot. it will have a durt mark from them. Also you can apple this to every thing apart from soft rubber. I did it for my lights, glass, trims and rims.

You must be a certified installer of crystal serum ultra. It's not that hard but you must own a business and have a brick and mortar business. It took me about 3 weeks to a month to get certified.
