@GTN you’re on fire lately, greatly informative videos with really useful information 👍👍👍👍 I’ve been putting to the test new information regarding nutrition and hydration and it’s been working so well that I wonder what we were thinking just two or three years ago.

Now we’re taking sense, there is no magic formula! Recovery, inc. carbs, is important for recovery. If you’re on the weight loss train, that’s good, but there is a cost / trade-off to understand.

In my opinion. Those advices are more relevant to Pro athletes rather than recreationals. I Make sure to track my glucose and insuline levels before abusing the carbs for the sake of recovery. You may be surprised when you find out that you are not able to deplete your glycogene reserve at all. Pros do train 6 to 10 hours per day since their young age, they have maximum 8% of body fat so they are skinny and train too much that's why they need carbs more than a normal person does.

Plant protein allows your body to recover quicker as it's easier to digest and it is not pro inflammatory as animal protein 💪🏼

lol what Plants are full of natural occurring chemicals that are hard for your body to break down. Eggs are one of the easiest digestible and most nutritious foods. And carbs are what will get rid of muscle soreness Carbo”hydrate” They push water and nutrients into muscle

My method is to first feed a majority of carbohydrates with some protein. Too much protein slows down the absorption of carbohydrates. I eat mostly yogurt with a lot of natural cereal-mixes and fruit, mostly an apple. About 2 hours after this meal, a protein shake is added in case of a hard workout. I've actually been doing quite well with this for a few years now, and at 40 now, the workout is still going quite well. Due to my type 1 diabetes, I can see quite well how quickly and well the carbohydrates are absorbed. If you dump directly after training the protein shake pure AND then eats a lot of carbohydrates, you first have a nasty lump in the stomach for a long time and the whole thing takes a relatively long time to digest.
