These Goggles Became My Swimming Coach!

I've had Form goggles for a couple of years and like them a lot, but after awhile I started to just use them occasionally to check in on how I was doing. The new head coach feature is great, and I've been using them more as a result. My pitch and roll scores are high, but my return to neutral needs to be a bit quicker, and nothing beats real-time feedback for working on it. Also, I like the new Form Score a lot more than SWOLF as a measure of efficiency.

I have had a pair for while .They are great and so are their programs.Much of the coach is great the issues arrives when you are swimming in a heavy trafficked pool.

No prescription offering, I have to wear lenses to see them with my prescription.

@@alexander-malafeev I've got a normal pair of goggles with the highest prescription I can get and I've got the FORM. For the FORM I started with contacts as I couldn't read the display but after a while I stopped as I can now "read" the blobs and know what they mean. They are all distinct enough not to mix them up. It's not perfect and for any time I really need to know what's going on I'll put contacts in again.

I really want to try these again. I had problems with these in the past. Made me feel dis orientated and messed up my flip turns. If they can improve my OWS to hold pace I would be super happy.

After watching your video on the Form goggles, which I just purchased. I tried the head coach out for head roll because I do have a issue on rolling and lifting my head too much. But going by goggles and looking @ my results I wasn't that bad, quite good actually, my score for head roll was 85 & for head pitch 81.

Would be interesting if they added sightings instructions to the googles. I really like the other parts of head coaching that have been added.

I've got a set and I can see the coaching being really good in an empty pool like you have in the video, but in a busy lane competing with heads up breaststroke swimmers my pacing is all over the place as I try to overtake or get stuck behind people. My pitch is also always too high as I have to look up to see who I'm about to swim into. Having the training plan built in is good, and having it count the lengths makes things easier, so they are of use to me, just not as much use as they would be if I could swim in an empty pool.

Interesting but very unlikely. You are moving much more slowly through the water and its much harder to displace than air so any drag savings that were found from reducing the bow wave would be negated by the larger frontal shape.

it´s great, but i think that having it integrated into the googles is an expensive solution, i understand that is impossible for now to have a modular system to replace the lens when they get old, but i think that in the midtime they could provide a separate sensor to put in any google even if we dont have the display in realtime, but this kind of data can be really usefull, also a sensor with an earpiece could be a good product for this kind of features.

I have a strong prescription (-6 on both eyes) and you can’t read the text without contacts in

They claim up to -6 but for me at -9 it is just a green blur without lenses in.
