A very good point you made in the end is not to show hero folds. I have seen manny players doing it and, besides being quite embarassing when they are wrong, they´re giving away information for no reason at all. Its a quite egocentric behaviour, they think they are showing how smart they are.

I agree in theory, however there are player types that you can tilt by showing a big fold and they will blast off vs you for the next half hour. In a live game vs a whale that can be a huge differnace in EV.
