@michaelkohler8181 just done it, had comfort mediums on and ballast 24, everything else same as the video, finished 3 seconds a head, wasn't fun but it can be done

When I saw the water on the road, my first initial thoughts were inter tires, but it's rather hard to constantly look and stay on the dry line so you don't slip up.

Tokyo is one of those races where you really need to understand the requirements to victory. Once you do tho, it’s a pretty fun/rewarding race

I just finally placed 1st thanks to this build. Like many of the comments say, the tune no longet gets you below 600pp. I had to lower the power restrictor all the way to 70 and lower the ecu one point to get below 600. It felt horrible but I managed to get through the whole race without a pit stop and completed the last race before 2nd place caught up to me again after pitting.

You're right but you can modify it slightly and it works great. Take off the torque thing, 90 ECU, 77 Power, 35 Ballast at -35, Downforce 103-330 is what I just used with some other body mods. No pit stop gives you huge advantage, this engine gets you the power and efficiency needed.

Max power for me with exactly the same settings is 623bhp indeed, but a PP of 618.74. It will be the Spanish BoP?😂

i'm struggling with this race...so i looked for a solution and found your video...yes, there is a solution but i'm only lvl 39 so it's far far away for the engine swap...so i did something else. I bought some cars and got a 6 star tickets (engine) and you better belief that i just got that one engine 🤣 i feel like i've won the lottory

This video was made on an older version of the game, before a major update. Chaz has since done another video on how to beat this race with a Dodge Viper (kzbin.info/www/bejne/rX_VeZSwqLx1b9U). It's still possible with this car, but you need to put ballast and a restrictor into it, dialling the power back quite a lot.
