Bought a Marcel tab book and cassette tape ( CDs were not out then) many years ago. A great man and teacher. He is sorely missed by the guitar world, as is Jerry.

RIP Marcel Dadi (1951-1996) A victim onboard TWA Flight 800 which crashed near East Moriches, New York due to a fuel tank explosion caused by a short circuit.

Yes, I was lucky to see him in concert with Stefan Grossman in London 1974 I think. He was great -as was Grossman and they dueted at the end. Dadi played a superb version of Lady Madonna - bass part first and then perfectly synched melody...at speed. Exciting and totally musical iamagination. Very sad to have lost him.

Just stick with it, even though the beginning stages can be especially frustrating, but learning to play will be one of the most rewarding things you will ever do. Don't ever give it up and you'll get there (along with me, I couldn't play this either).
